203 style alloys

Quick question. Thinking of trying to get hold of some 18” 203 alloys for my ‘06 roadster and wondered if anyone had any experience of them. They are available it seems new - expensive - but wanted to see if they just bolt on? Don’t really want to faff around with spacers etc.
Any info much appreciated. Cheers.
 
Those are the same offsets as all the standard 18" staggered wheels, MV2s, 108s, 107s, etc. so will fit exactly the same. :thumbsup:

They seem to be very popular over in the states but very rare here. I assume they were not a factory option from new this side of the water.?
I tried for about 6 months to locate a set but they never appeared. :thumbsdown:
 
Going by the brochure I have the standard wheels for the 3.0Si seem to have been 17" Style or MV2s on Sport models. It does show 108s, 203s and 241s as options but most UK cars I've seen had MV2s or 108s.

Shame really as I like an easy to clean 5 spoke wheel. I got lucky with my previous Z4 when I found a set of Style 295s off an E89. :D
 
They were an option in the UK, my coupe had them. They are rare though, and almost never come up on eBay etc. Style 189 is similar, but slightly less fine.

I was looking for something else today on the facelift option price list and it only quotes a price for 203s on the SE models, which may explain why there aren't too many of them around. That option cost £745!

I offered a choice of wheels when I sold this car (if you remember it had the bronze MV1s on), but the chap who bought it had to have these.
 
My coupe came with chrome 203s. I tried to sell them in the states but no one was interested.

Interesting colour/finish to the wheel. I think it looks quite nice but I'd have a 15mm spacer on the rear to help fill that wheel arch a bit.

Depends on the vibe you're after Andy. It's a US car and it might just hit the spot in some areas. If you lived in the US, I could see you cruising around Cape Cod or Carmel by the Sea in this. :driving:

Hi there, I understand this thread was from quite awhile ago, but I’m desperate so thought it’s worth a shot. Are those chrome 203’s still available. Im after just one wheel and am desperate to keep the car as it came (one wheel is cracked in multiple places beyond welding repair).

Given that they were for sale in the states, I think you are on a hiding to nothing. Is it a chrome 203 you are after, or just a regular one?

Ah i see. My bad, new to this forum so still learning to navigate. Im after any colour 203, getting all my others resprayed anyway.
