+1 That’s all I was commenting about too Rob, if mine was in great, if not no problem. It’s also why I made my revised comment about the monthly competition winners. Mine would’ve been in that but the slant towards the E85/6 was the same in it.

Maybe moving forward if the calendar is going to be a regular thing then agreeing to use the monthly winners would give an incentive for all owners to submit regularly to the competition and hopefully create more of a balance.

I asked for a calendar not really knowing what to expect but hoping / expecting a slant towards E85 as this is the majority of Z4’s made and therefore majority of owners. Was always going to be difficult to please everyone though…..

Going forward to next years (if you decided to do another ) why not a mix of 3 months per model (3 x E85, 3 x E86, 3 x E89 and 3 x G29) and something interesting for the cover?

Its a futile experience asking people what images per month because everyone will give you different views.

The forum calendar used to be of every months image winner, people would go out of their way to submit images every month to get into the calendar and the comps were far more popular because of it.

The votes have already been cast so no worries with opinions.

Cost would be to print and the rest would go to charity which removes the element of people moaning because its a good cause.

Im pretty sure ive got a calendar for most years of the early 2010s but lots of members who organised have now moved on and it was a lot of work for those that did.

I did produce calendars for a few years based on the photo competition. The prolem was people who said they wanted one and then didn't place an order when they went on sale, meaning we had lots left over and practically ran at a loss.

The other issue is by using competition winners you can end up with a massive slant to certain models, which upsets some people.

I have been discussing bringing it back next year, but not decided yet.
