You said that last year, lol :poke:
You still got the mini,Alan?
Be good to see you back at a National.... even if it is next year, which will be our10th Anniversary meet....National no.10 in 2019 :D

Craig

Would I be able to have an electric hook up at the campsite? Looking to put Lisa's car on the pitch to charge. Called Waters Edge and she said to clear it with you. Told them I would sort any extra costs with them.

Cheers,

Brian, the Campsite is under new management, again,as Tony is no longer there due to ill health.
New couple have taken it over,so only spoke to them a couple of times.
Shouldn't imagine it would be a problem,as there are still hook up points at the top end of the tent area in2017....if they are still there, then I don't see why not, mate.
Just sort out costs with them.
We can sort it on Friday afternoon, when we get there mate
Will give them a wee ring as well.

I stayed there in May. The top end is now caravans right into the corner but I think the power points are still also where Brian pitched last year. The new guy who is managing the site this year was very friendly and accommodating I found.

Cheers for the info mate

The Mini has gone Craig needed to move into something sensible for a few years but the Mrs is thinking about getting a two seater as her daily drive so if I can prise the keys out of her fingers I'll get to some Hoons :D

Guess who's air-con has decided to pack up

Hopefully it just needs a re-gas from sitting around all the time - as it was fine when it was used as a daily driver, and never needed a re-gas in 10 years/140,000 miles.

If only it was held on by velcro, instead of mastic & bolts, then I'd take it off now and have a makeshift 'targa' for the weekend.

But knowing my luck, it's piss down and my roof would still be in Liverpool.

On the positive side, at least I won't hold anyone up by stopping every couple of hours to put the roof up, roof down, roof up, roof down :poke:

Nooooooo !

Still think of the National as a 48hr rapid weight loss program

Evening all.

Slight change to plan after a pita working week - so will hopefully join you on Sunday rather than Saturday.

I’ll look through thread for start time Sunday, but will probably be there early and wake some of you up with the sports exhaust

Pm sent,mate

Can Everyone please have a FULL TANK OF PETROL BEFORE THE START TIME OF 9.30a.m,as we go places where fuel may not be readily available...and we don't stop for fuel during the day.
There is a petrol station just two minutes from the Hotel & Campsite, but sadly no longer has Super unleaded...so those who, like myself, need Super, you have a 10minute drive to Kendal, where there is a Shell with Super.
Cheers, see you soon.

Thanks for yesterday Craig and John (also Andy :D ) Morgan and I really enjoyed it. Great to drive roads I know very well (and one or two not so well) but with a different start point and running order it made them feel fresh and almost new.
