Hi All,

I am looking to update the maps on my z4. It current has the ECE BMW 1.5.20 Road Map Europe PREMIUM 2009-2 maps. I believe that the updated maps 2017-2 BMW Road Map PREMIUM are out and get be obtained from here [link removed]

Has anyone done this yet? its seems quite straight forward but want to know if anyone else has done this?

I have the latest 2017-2 Western Europe - very easy to download to a USB drive and install in the car.

been looking into myslef but I believe you will need a software update first, if your car was made before March 2010 you cannot update the maps from USB stick unless the software has been updated.

My car was made Aug 2010, but it doesn't have a glove box USB - can I use the centre console one to update the maps?

if you have idrive you have a glovebox usb
