2016 Z4 ordered

I just ordered a 2016 Z4 (E89) sDrive28i M Sport Package, Technology Package from my dealer here in New Mexico, and will pick it up in Munich in June. While no images of it are yet available, the pricing guide provided by my dealer shows all the colors and attributes of the 2015. Exceptions: all Z4s will have sport seats, and so ordering the M Sport or Sport packages costs $300.00 less. Also the default red paint is no longer available. All the wheel types are the same.

Other than that, these are the only changes. As far as exterior and interior "refinements" as BMW defines it on the New York Auto Show website (http://www.autoshowny.com/galleries/cars/bmw/z4-roadster), it's still a mystery. All will be revealed this week at the show.

So, it looks like no big changes in 2016.

If the shape is right could be very interesting :)

There were a lot of "E89 is the last of the Z4" comments previously!

I hope the roof comes off tho

This is just pure speculation and my opinion, but surely a car that BMW won't display any images of, haven't spoken publicly about, is essentially still under development for all intents and purposes... would also still be under a strict NDA? Meaning no dealer should be allowed to speak of it yet?
Fair play if you really have been permitted to do this, but it doesn't make any sense to me, based on how things are done in the UK at least :| Pretty sure if I walked into my local BMW dealers and said yo I wanna order a car you don't sell and can't talk to me about, they'd likely laugh at me extremely hard whilst ushering me towards the exit!

The order sheet has all the attributes of the 2015 - wheels, M Sport package, etc., colors. The only change is sport seats now in all models, and the default red is out. The contract states that if the model is radically changed, the customer can opt out - no charge.

Given that someone in development said at the Paris Motorshow it could be 2020 before the replacemt for the E89 arrives its not going to be any huge changes just slight tweaks in spec. We've already got the facelift model too. It's a bit like any other person ordering a MY16 car just not quite understanding why the link shows what is clearly a covered i8 when there will be no visual exterior changes to the E89

It's just a library 'photo' & nothing to do with the 2016 Z4 specifically. It's exactly the same image as used for the Jag F-type ;)

2016 model looks the same as 2015. A couple of colors were dropped, you can order Valencia orange or brown without the previously associated interior trim package. Sport seats are standard on all models.

Ordered my 2016 Z4 35i during the first week of March, car was built the following week and the vehicle is now parked at the port facility in Brunswick, Georgia awaiting shipment to Texas.
