2016 boot latch chrome

I've just committed to a 2016 z4 from a BMW dealership

On the boot chrome latch you know where the BMW roundel is the outer ring has a pin head of corrosion at the 7 o clock position

Looks like the aluminium corroding under the chrome

Workshop was closed when I committed to buy on Saturday

Anybody else had this and would it be replaced on warranty

No idea if it will be replaced, but I have owned a 2016 from new and it has the same feature!

Yes i noticed under flap can corrode.

not sure if the BMW franchise put any pressure on, but its hase been replaced as a warranty issue
