I have received a PM asking about the car's service history.

The service history is as follows:

31/10/15 - PDI, Sytner, Maidenhead.
13/11/17 - Oil change, Sytner, Maidenhead @ 7,647 miles.
14/10/17 - Brake fluid change, Sytner, Maidenhead @ 10,110 miles.
24/10/19 - Vehicle Inspection, Oil change, Re-circulating filter, Micro filter, Spark plugs, Sytner, Maidenhead @ 13,870 miles.
27/10/20 - Brake fluid change, Sytner, Maidenhead @ 16,448 miles.

MOTs in 2018, 2019 and 2020 carried out by Sytner, Maidenhead.

Readers are no doubt aware that the car works out when service is due and alerts the driver accordingly.

I guess the first brake fluid change was October 2018 not October 2017.

Yeah,i was thinking that too, unless its mileage went backwards lol.

Very nice car op,almost as new with those very Low miles :driving:

Good luck with the sale,.
What are you replacing it with,if anything?

Thank you.

it is my partner's car. She likes convertibles. i do not, I get sunburnt and prefer to listen to the radio without the wind noise!

It is her second E89 Z4 and one of the major selling points, in my view, is the fact that the roof is metal and not fabric. The G29 is clearly a great car but personally I do not like the fabric roof.

We have ordered a Porsche Cayman, clearly not a convertible but another great car although I winced at the premium Porsche seem to be able to command!

Great choice on the Cayman

I assume you have had no interest from your ads on here and Pistonheads? Everything looks and sounds right about the car and for me Estoril blue is a cracking colour for the E89. I think its been on here for a couple of weeks and less time on Pistonheads. I know you have reduced the price a couple of times but personally I would take it to under £19K and then depending on how quickly you need to move it sit back and be patient. All being well by the end of this month lockdown rules will ease allowing travel coupled with the weather becoming warmer. Also, prospective buyers may have some free time over the Easter break to go car hunting. GLWTS

Definitely desirable for all sorts of reasons (spec, colour etc) but the price that low mileage and year commands puts you into a tricky pricing bracket - alongside and above many recent 35is examples.

As per advice above, £18995 as a starting point, get it on Ebay and Auto trader too (which may snag some dealer/trader offers) and see what happens as the warmer weather arrives and lockdown finishes.

It was sold to a gentleman in Scotland. We had detailed conversations and correspondence with more detailed photographs and agreed a deal.

I am not sure if he is a member of this forum but will suggest he joins because he sounds like an enthusiast who has been looking for the right car.

Thank you for all your comments and keep this great community going strong.

A very delighted gentleman in Scotland!

This Z4 was everything I hoped it would be and more. More or less flawless. Kudos to Flyer_787 for accommodating all my questions/enquires and calming my nerves on a blind buy. It’s a lot of money to part with without seeing the goods... but a real gent you were and I definitely made the right choice here.

So, now a forum member and looking forward to spending some time on here. You will mainly see me in the detailing section, as I reignite an old pastime of mine... which is... shiny shiny 8)

Congratulations and welcome. I do like Estoril blue on an E89

Thanks. Agree on the colour. So many black, silver, white cars about - so it’s nice to have something a little less popular. Now my 3rd car in this sort of colour.
