Definitely mirrors fold/unfolding on locking/unlocking because we've done that.

Some of the other options we've considered are the digital Speedo, number of indicator flashes ( my wife does actually use them) and the frequency the headlamp washers pop up.

There's loads more you could do but I'm not brave enough to try them.
 
Here's the page from "Carly for BMW" that tells you all the things that "can" be coded.
Clink the link (let the page fully open) then just pick your model (Z4, E89 2009 - 2016), you can then click each subject and a drop down will tell you what is possible.

** PLEASE NOTE - Not all functions are available on all models, it's very dependent of what is already fitted(or not) to your specific version.

Sorry but it's not "definitely", this has already been verified by other users, if you have Comfort Access then this will probably NOT work! And I've tried it on a members car with Comfort Access and it didn't work.

Indicator flashes (1, 3 or 5),
Digital Speedo,
Change gear indications,
DRL brightness,
Roof opening/closing up to 34mph

are the ones I did

The mirror fold on lock/unlock only works if the car already has power folding mirrors :?

I have looked at Carly, but not sure what can be done, and its expensive, i was hoping it can be done via a laptop plug-in like BMW f30's by someone who knows how

Apologies for the generalisation but the specs the OP posted are the same specs as our car and we've coded our mirrors.

Maybe someone on the forum can do both with Carly for a small fee :roll:

Yeah from the spec list there is no mention of Comfort Access and there is mention of dipping mirrors so this is a good possibility that it will work. :thumbsup:
