Just wondering what exciting plans everyone has for the year ahead?

Already mine is looking extremely busy! Off to Bruges with a couple of friends in February, away playing golf for a weekend in March, watching the BMW golf at Wentworth in May, my stag do in June, my wedding in September followed by honeymoon in Sorrento and then tickets to two Rugby World Cup games late September/early August!! All that surrounding work and trying to get out in the zed as much as possible! :D

looks busy

Me? I'm into motor [car] race marshalling, so I'm in the midst of booking :-

Training day in March [brrr  :) ]
Various BTCC meetings across the country,
WEC @ Silverstone
Blancpain @ Silverstone
Applied for the BGP @ Silverstone - waiting to hear

So there's 23 days [Fri/Sat/Sun] used up - and there is probably more to go.

so loads of :driving: to and fro

3 holidays abroad 2 booked 1 to go 6 to 8 long week ends in this country with the z of course, and what ever else we can fit in .
oh forgot got to redesign the back garden don't fancy that

At least 8 weeks in France spread throughout the year + a target ive set myself is a return to a 911 by the end of the year :driving: no doubt there will be some interesting "others " to fill the months between

Give me a shout if your in the dordogne any time , if I'm there I'll repay the posting pics favour you did me by inviting you to a drunken BBQ at my place near sarlat if I'm there :D

Greece booked again for July :D

Persevere with my new sport of golf - christ it's frustrating !

Get back in to clay shooting ( new shotgun ordered ) :D

De-Sorn zed early ( Feb ) and use it more :D

and finally....................... stay above ground for another year

Il be doing my annual nurburgring trip at some stage of the year to catch up with a couple of mates , and a strong possibility of returning to Pamplona for the bull run , I did it a few years ago and for some unknown reason would like to try it again

Wow! The bull run, from what I've seen if it, looks mental! I'd give it a go, but don't know if I'd ever be going back for more!

I'm not sure if I'm going back for more yet , it's possibly the stupidest thing I've ever done , but now we know how it works we may actually run with bulls rather than run away from them in a crowd of drunks , drunks at 8 in the morning

If i could buy back my old 964 i would happily go to £18k which i consider enough to get me into a 997 , yes i know all about the inherent flaws but i'd have to buy carefully & as it would be a weekender doing under 3k a year that should limit the risk of it blowing a hole in my wallet
Quite happy with a C2 pr C2s along these lines http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201410098072006/sort/default/maximum-age/up_to_10_years_old/usedcars/postcode/bb120hr/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/make/porsche/page/1/price-from/17000/radius/1501/model/911?logcode=p
Not ruling out a M dabble at some point before that tho

That looks decent Mr Wilks for a very handy looking 997 - i like those alloys

big miles but look what this gen 2 went for

Looks a belter & 100k wouldnt deter me , especially given the low miles i would add

I'm going to lobby the mods for a separate Ex-Z Porsche Owners section  :P

Paris at the end of this month
Rugby tour end of March
Hooning in April
Hooning in May
Hooning in June
Hooning in July
Hooning in August, maybe a holiday away, no idea where
Hooning in September

Not sure about the rest of the year. Need to fit a new job in somewhere. Other than all that I'm pretty flexible tbh.

Lobby them for a Ex Z - Audi section as well
Sounds like a few miles going on the "M" mr B :driving: maybe a jaunt over the channel for a Normandy hoon at some point ?

Driving to Slovakia agin this year in July, but plan to make little detour down to Switzerland and through Austria to fit in a few Mountain passes. Im up to about 3000 miles :driving:

been looking at this website for ideas but any recommendations would be grateful http://www.ultimatedrives.net/top-10-roads/index.php

Play more golf than I managed last year, bloody frustrating but oddly also relaxing!
Drive the Z4 whenever I can
Dive in some warm water
Find a holiday destination the family can actually agree on!!

Put all 4 together and sounds like a plan! Drive somewhere in the zed for the family holiday, while there go diving in warm waters and get off to play golf one day!
