2015 NATIONAL Z4-FORUM MEET,3rd,4th,5th JULY

I don't think anyone is questioning Craigs commitment and effort. As Perry has said previously there are faults on both sides especially with newer members joining and wanting to organise events and not being aware of certain event dates. But what I don't get is the fact that some members don't want 2 events to happen at the same time. The National is special but neither it or its organisers should be dictating what they can and can't do to other members, the area is large enough for accommodate both. It seems to me that it is THEIR WAY OR NOTHING and that is not right either. There is also mention from some members who have openly said they would like to attend both! Seems to me that there is a bit of self interest going on here as well, talk about having their cake and eating it. Things like this happen on all forums from time to time but they usually manage to sort themselves out eventually, allowing things to return to normal. However if I thought for one minute the forum was going to be dictating to me or others what I CAN AND CAN'T DO, then I would consider leaving the forum and I suspect quite a few others would as well, even those members who probably haven't even posted any comments.

Lets try and get back on track to some normality LIVE AND LET LIVE is what I say, arguing over 2 events at same time is it worth all this hassle guys, really.

It's all handbags at dawn. It will soon blow over.

I think everyone's been getting just a little bit too precious. Time for a bit of perspective I reckon.

Brian, there are indeed "faults on both sides", but all is (hopefully) resolved and we can all move on from this(yourself included/as continuing to post on this doesn't help put the topic to rest)......as I was under the impression that the meet Sarah was planning would be in the same area and on the same weekend, which could very well have caused some issues re routes/traffic...though this appears to not be the case.

I and anyone else on here have no problems with other meets going on around the country, as they often do. Its just better if 2 meets don't take place around the same area and w/end. And when you plan meets year after year and spend MONTHS planning it(like John and I do re the National), its a bit of a pita when people want to take the edge of it with other meets clashing with it, dates wise and geographically.

"The National is special but neither it or its organisers should be dictating what they can and can't do to other members"

As previous, I/we were not dictating anything.

"THEIR WAY OR NOTHING"....not at all, read my previous post.

"There is also mention from some members who have openly said they would like to attend both! Hence why it would have been better if they were on different dates/and why should we move the National to accommodate another meet...the Tour de France was another story, lol.
No self interest, just the interest of allowing as many other forum members as possible to be able to enjoy various meets, which you can't do if both are on the same dates.........so not having our cake and eating it/or being "precious"!

So please stop adding fuel to a fire that is burning out, we have enough from the likes of El taco and seb!!

GNH (Graham & Denise) Black Z4M Roadster arrive late Fri + Sat and Sun Hotel Fri and Sat nights (no meal Fri Night)

CRAIG 3.2 WHO IS FUELING WHAT HERE MY FRIEND! TWO POSTS OF MINE, ONE AFTER ANOTHER FFS. It would appear you are fueling this as there was no need for reposting the second earlier post of mine which you obviously thought warranted some further attention. I thought your first one was actually quite ok and I can understand the view points and wasn't going to comment further, however the second wasn't warranted and neither was the tone of your response on it my friend. In your own words Craig, "PLEASE STOP ADDING FUEL TO THE FIRE THAT IS BURNING OUT". Perhaps then the fire will eventually be put out.

Thank you

Moving on.....I'd be up for this. When do we hear more details and how much roughly does it set you back? This would be my first.

I have Taz, mate....I was just replying to Brian d's posts/which I don't then get why people post things on here having a go at people replying to stuff they continue to post comments on.
Brian d, don't post comments and expect people not to reply in answer to them.

Anyway, I keep saying I want this thread to get back on TOPIC, then posts keep coming back to square 1 :headbang:

Enough said by me I think, I am not wanting to fall out with your good self Craig or others for that matter, think I probably misinterpreted your second reply and thus over reacted. I didn't set out to deliberately upset you, so no hard feelings I hope :)

Hope all goes well for the National, I might even put my name down as I think I might owe you a pint when I see you!
