2014 Mods

So, it's a new year, hopefully the sun will appear more often now and we can alll drive our nice cars on some quiet, winding dry roads.

In light of this, what plans do you all have for your motors this year? Mods, fixes, changes, upgrades, (or even selling it or buying one!).

I'll start with my plans so far:


  • * Fix a few dents, marks and scuffs
    * Full corrective detail with a DA polisher.
    * Add electric folding mirrors
    * Install (tbd which) exhaust mod using existing spare backboxes
    * Eibachs for a slight handling improvement and 10/20mm lowering
    * Wheel alignment
    * Black Roof! (to be investigated)

Excellent plan. The only thing I wouldn't do is the black roof, your car looks stunning without :thumbsup: 8)

I'll go next:

- DA Polish
- Exhaust tips
- Cruise control retrofit (I think there's a guy in Newcastle that can do it)
- If I can find a GruppeM, I'd love to have one

And that's about it :thumbsup:
 
Jimmy, sounds like a great list. I think Imola ///M's look great with the lower centre 'bar' of the front bumper being wrapped in black, could really go well with the black roof.

For me:

-Eibachs (Completed)
-Custom Alignment (Completed)
-Aero Skirts
-Black Kidneys
-Refurbish 224's (Shadow Chrome or Hyper Black)
-OEM CSLs
-Paint Calipers and Hubs Silver (TBC)
 
Caliper paint
Different alloys
Engine clean
Stick Forum sticker on rear screen
Clear brake light
Touch up stone chips

If you get cruise done I need pics of the wiring box under the bonnet. I have a CC stalk and wiring loom. Just need a car that's had retrofitted to see what's required. Be nice to get the knowledge on the forum.

The black roof may look good just in the centre, like they did it on the Jag F-Type.
It will also match the tints of your windows and will look lovely.

Maybe a diff towards summer
Then just enjoy it, with hopefully a good spring/summer.
 
Good to see you have seen sense and going for the wheel refurb.

Also looking to seeing you deep pile mates :poke:
