Hi all

Been enjoying the IoM TT coverage, on ITV this week. Just watching Michael Dunlop win the 600cc class. Fantastic to watch. Think the Super sport bikes were reaching 180 mph yesterday. 8)

Any one else watching?

Just catching the day 1 Superbikes from the recorder - goose bumps! I'm thinking the TT may have to go on 'the list' :)

Yep agree with that. Has to be on the list here too. :)

Just been watching the off road trip from down to Ramsey. Nutters one and all, loving it.

It's the only motor sport I watch nowadays- It makes every other sort of racing seem tame, the onboard video footage has you griping onto the sofa as they flash thru Kirkmichael or knocking on 200 on the decent from the mountain........ Shame it's only once a year :D

Stu.

Yip I am following it, Michael is having a cracking year and is riding exceptionally! Disappointing news that John McGuinness wasn't up for racing today.
Last week I booked the TT for next year, something I have wanted to do for a number of years now.

The slow motion clips are very impressive! 8)

I think the coverage is pretty good each year - having it on ITV 4 is a big help - look forward to it every night.

The on-board camera work seems to get better and better. I've got some similar footage from Sunday (lol) when Steph and I headed up the A686 to Hartside early :D - some of the bike overtakes were heart-stopping on our dash camera (brilliant but  ) - you'd have thought the bikers were on the TT - maybe they thought they were! - exciting stuff if you like bikes - we love it up there! :D

I was there a few years ago and trust me on TV it looks scary but I was kerbside on bray hill and it is just unbelievable how fast these guys go it really is something else and remember one cock up and your wrapped around a pilar box or in Edna's front garden - no run off - maybe we could make it into a forum trip and get some Z's buzzing around the island :driving:

I would be watching if I could :D good to have a record function .......

The idea of a Zed trip to the IOM sounds interesting ........ I would be up for that.

The lot of them are as mad as hatters.Great to watch, but as for riding through the streets at 170 mph goes they are all certified  absolutely bonkers.

May be he's been resting that injury, ready for the big one today. Let’s hope he can keep it together for the whole race.

Slow mows just blow me away.

Seeing guys accelerating over crest, at 140mph, front wheel in the air, steering with the throttle, in crystal clear HD, with lamppost and brick gatepost blurred into the backdrop. F###ing amazing.

Got it all recorded will sit and watch over the weekend I wish i had the cash to have gone over as I had a pit pass waiting from one of the sidecar boys need the cash elsewhere but will deffo go next year

These bikes have traction control then.

Yep. Even modern stock bikes have about 3 or 4 programmed ride modes (race, wet, etc) as well as abs, traction etc

Bmw s1000rr is state of the art.

Senior was a cracking race today. I was hoping Guy Martin could break his duck finaly. Wasn't to be. Michael D was just to good for them all. That BMW is a bit special, and the German chick bulding the engines.

Glad to see WD was ok after trying to dig up the mountain at 140mph. Crazy guys. :D

Role on next year.

+1. Probably the most watchable senior race for a few years, especially when they were all together on the road. :D
