2014 F1 engine sound

Hopefully not a repost but renault have released this sound clip, personally I think the way it is going I'm going to lose interest in F1. This sounds aweful. :thumbsdown:

Haha that's saying something. Amazing that not that long ago there were v12 and 10s, then limited to v 8s, and limited the allowed max rpm. Now this.

I hope they will rev higher than the recording. They limited the max rpm to 15000 compared to 18000 in current engines, and the early shifting of gears seems the worst thing for me. I hope they did not change gears at 15000 rpm but lower in the recording otherwise this is a big failure :thumbsdown:
