BMW have updated the build your own section for the z4 for the 2013 model.. starts with a 18i now... dear god... time to head over to Porsche...

Mineral grey new paint option looks good. Valencia is obviously configurable too. NOT sure about the new 18 inch 515 style wheel, looks a bit after market or 1 series but I may change my mind.. The new 17 inch 514 wheel is an improvement though.

But still... an 18i... really? :headbang:

Its just a badge - don't get upset!
BMW badges no longer reflect engine sizes & it is 156 bhp - which is more than the old Z4 2.0i

Just spec'd up an Sdrive18i with all the options, 19" wheels, nav, tv, everything. Price went from £27k up to £41,440 - id rather have a standard car with bigger engine!

I do believe we're also back to the early days of the 23i e89 with regard to interior upholstery too... fabric no less on the 18i..

A Z4 without leather shouldnt be allowed - I know some people dont like leather but for the price you pay even for a standard car it should have leather. If id pais £27k for a car id expect them to go go to the trouble of peeling a couple of cows at least!

Agreed you'd think they were moving the model downmarket if it wasn't for the prices :o

I like the new wheels - though they are only available on the base model ?

Just built a 35is with all the toys I'd want - £54,820 OTR cash price :o

About right.. mine was £48k... good job I still love the bloody thing... that spend, plus the issues is enough to turn me to drink... actually, where did I put that open bottle of red...

I put a black individual roof on Valencia orange and loved it :exitright:

Did I miss something, or is Atacama yellow now not available ?

Maybe BMW are thinking that they can sell to a younger customer as I would think the road tax and insurance are probably cheaper.

You must mean list price cause I did the deal for cash, no finance, no px for £40k OTR with lots of extras.

You got a good deal... partly i guess due to the fact you bought two cars?

Its not the badge geepee, its the fact that that Mazda MX5 will power past you..................8 seconds 0 to 60 sheesh thats bad.

That was just the price at the bottom of the screen once I'd finished - didn't go to any options round financing. Base price is £45k - remember I picked the 35is

It was DCT, and the only options not ticked were universal remote (no idea what that is), voice activation, TV, Internet, through loading storage... And that's it. Oh, and I had the professional media system package, comfort package and extended leather interior ticked, as well as the 326 M alloys.

Yes buying two cars together gave us good buying power. They were desperate to do a deal and we let them do all the running. Got our own way in the end. I also didn't go for any of the sat nav, upgraded speakers etc but got pretty much everything else and the bigger engine.

Ahh, sorry Quadracer, didn't put 2 and 2 together, thought you were talking about the configurator, not your new car :slaphead:

I love my pro media nav.. It was a must for me.. Love my toys and spent a bit of time last weekend treating my extended leather with conditioner to give it some love lol

I wouldn't by another Zed without upgraded speakers and Sat Nav, not just for resale value. :? Sorry.
