As preventative maintenance I attempted to replace PCV valve. I looked simple enough to get to and attempt om my own. PCV it was easy enough to get there an remove the PCV valve cap but the PCV valve will not budge, come out. of course the only way to crab it and try to wiggle or pull it out is though the small plastic stem and it broke! Any Ideas how to get the old valve out?

Problem solved, barely...used a pick and inserted in the hole that was created when the plastic stem broke off. It looks like even though I was doing as preventative maintenance the original PCV valve from the factory was about to disintegrate as it came out in pieces....I was surprised based on its condition I did not have the usual symptoms of white smoke..
