Hi All,

Thank you for accepting me.

I bought this baby, and I must say I am very thrilled. It feels like nothing I have ever driven before. :D 1.jpg

Currently facing 3 "challenges":

1) Impossible to listen to music through my Samsung S10. Managed to sync with BMW Professional but this is only for calls, right? Ideally, I want to be able to listen to online radio. Any hacks, please?

2) No cup holders. Big surprise there. Have seen some Amazon suggestions in the forum. Any updated ones?

3) No GPS. Purchased CD mount from Amazon, but phone rests too close to the gear shift. Now waiting for a vent mount. Hopefully, it's going to be ok. Any other suggestions?

Apologies if asking too much. Maybe I'm just too spoiled from my previous car experiences, yet I thought these features are pretty basic. maybe not :cry:

But i wanted to welcome you and congratulate you on the purchase of your beautiful car :)

2) After market solutions don’t look great. There is an oem part which has two cup holders under the centre arm rest, but these aren’t practical either.

3a) Depending on your budget there is a complete android head unit and idrive controller retrofit, loads of info in here about that.
 
They're great cars. I've just sold my 2012 white E89.

Surely there are cup holders in the central arm rest/storage compartment between the seats ?

It was an option, mine doesn’t have them.
