2013 rear fog light warning

Hi all,

Just commuted to work in the girlfriends car, and it appears we now have a rear fog light warning light on. It's a light symbol with a vertical line to the right hand side.

Ive done quite a bit of searching and it's almost as if the E89 doesnt have rear foglights, there's so little information out there.

I had to run into work and find the error light meaning, I've not been outside again to check the lights yet.

Anyone seen that warning before, and if it is a rear fog, is it easy to replace myself?

This is a shot of the dash lights. The rear fog lamp "ON" indication is the yellow lamp facing to the right with the wavy lines pointing right. That means your rear fog lamps are on. Switch for rear fog lamps is above right of headlamp switch.

Yes - that's the icon - but it came up as an alarm/warning and we now have a warning triangle permanently on the dashboard,,,

Have you checked the bulb?

I think the rear fog light warning should be a bloody amber flashing light on top of the dashboard, that may just be enough to stop Muppet's driving around with bloody things left on
