2013 E89 M-sport manual.

I can’t believe this car hasn’t sold. It looks to be immaculate and seeing the other cars Andy has sold on here I’m sure it will be. All the benefits of an E89 without the expensive running costs that some of the models incur.

If I was in the market for an E89 2.0i I would buy this car as I know the owner from this forum and despite all the jokes I know he is well respected by other members. So the remap wouldn't put me off but the insurance problems might but then how much difference would the cost be to an E89 28i? I would find out before purchase.

The insurance premium hike for us with the remap was a colossal £0.00. Not kidding, it was 'no charge' with LV, not even the standard 'admin fee'.

That is not the same for everyone admittedly, but insurance cost should not be a reason for dismissing remapped cars IMO. Other reasons I get! :)

That list is shorter than the one for prospective purchasers, mate!

Madness this hasn't sold. I felt it was a really good buy when it was initially put up for £12,500. Now it's at £10,900 it's an absolute steal.

Come on, tell us what’s happened, a big safe fell on it from a high building, someone parked an EV next to it and the car exploded, you parked in a no waiting are and the police towed it away?

superb looking car going to someone who will cosset and value it!!!

well done all!

It is surprising what spikes interest and gets people excited.

It got a bit complicated as I had to make up a lie to put off someone who was booked to view it yesterday evening. The eventual purchaser was favoured by us, so it's all worked out in the end.

I have absolutely no doubt I have sold it to the 'right' person, as I know it will continue to be looked after properly, which is important to me.

It is up to the purchaser whether they want to divulge who they are, as it's not my place to do so. :)

What do you think Andy? Should we tell them it’s me? 😜

I guess it makes no difference. You didn't have a Z and you were here, you sold the Z which wasn't yours and I guess you are still here  :poke:

I know you would miss me more than you think, so for that reason I have decided to stay. :P

The wife and I did have a short conversation about perhaps getting a G29 in the future, so I could have another one that I don't own at some point!
