This car will make somebody very happy and at what looks like a very fair price. Finding cars like this is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
I’m sure it will sell quickly.
I have a habit of selling cars too cheaply, as once I decide to sell I want them gone, generally. The last two cars I sold were reserved in less than an hour, as they were cheap (relatively) but good. Then I regretted selling extremely good cars at bargain prices. The buyers' gain was my loss.

I have not priced the Z4 cheap as I know how good it is. I see so many people come onto the forum after buying 'average' cars for good money and finding multiple problems which cost them a lot of money and aggravation. Mine is not one of these 'average' cars. :)
Two really outstanding cars available. When you are buying you largely get what you pay for. Either of these two cars look a great proposition. GLWTS..

All the best with the sale Andy. Looks lovely and at a sensible price.

FWIW I can vouch for the seller if it was ever needed. Straight forward to deal with and very accomodating.

Bump for one of the best two litre E89s for sale.
Not a single enquiry! :o

Maybe people have realised 2 litres aren't the best Z4s.

No money about, interest rates going up, cost of living going up, not many have the money for a weekend fun car. Hope you get a bite soon, it certainly looks like a nice car

Thanks mate, that's really helpful.

I would argue that a remapped N20 is the pinnacle for the E89. More grunt than either of the n/a N52 engines (and lighter), and much less of a PITW (pain in the wallet) than the N54.

The N54 engined cars are also a lot more money to buy.

While 6 pots are lovely and smooth, BMW don't do a crap job on their 4 pots. And with a turbo plus remap it must fly without having to thrash it.

One thing I can't get over tho is how pricey a 10 year old car can be (not a dig!) In my head anything over £10k is <5 year old car money!

Have you tried eBay? That's the best "shop window" these days.

I totally agree regarding the prices. They are still much higher than they historically ever have been. Mine is priced 'averagely' for the market, yet it is far from an average example.

I will advertise it on AT soon, or maybe have a re-think and sell one of the other cars instead.

Id get a free ad up on Car & Classic. Better class of crowd for potential new owners on there, in my experience. Sold a few car over the years via that site, pain free.

Reduced price to £12,000. Last chance before it goes into the trade and is sold for a lot more!

Difficult sell to an enthusiast s forum
As a 18i BMWs marketing does it no favours irrespective of the truth on packaging and condition

I’m sure if you can get someone through the door it will sell

Crowded market with pricing all over the place

GLWTS

I am really surprised this hasn't sold. Have you tried advertising it on AT? I know its around £70 but I believe the ad stays up until the car is sold and the audience is widespread including dealers.

I am surprised I haven't even had a message about it TBH. Seems (from what I've seen on the forum) everybody looking wants cheap E85s. Cost of living crisis, maybe? Wouldn't surprise me.

AT is the next step, but because we really don't want to let it go, I've been a little 'lax'! :)

AT is the next step, but because we really don't want to let it go, I've been a little 'lax'! I am not going to sell this car for peanuts, it is just too good to do that. If necessary we will keep it and sell another car (the Mazda). We shall see! :)
Yes it's a shame, looks like a really nice car but as you say cheap E85s such as 2.0 and 2.2 seem to move very quickly on AT.

I cant believe this has had no interest, a well specced mapped 18i, with low mileage and a well know member
Maybe that's the trouble, he's a well known member :poke:

It has been said; yes! :D

I'm not included in the sale, though, so all good!
