2011 Z4 35is with BMW Insured Warranty - Special Offer!

I’m surprised that it’s not sold too. If south of the border there’d be a queue I’d imagine.

Saying that, the revised ad now with a contribution towards delivery/travel cost should surely tip it towards a sale. The £250 will cover at worst half the costs to get it delivered to pretty well anywhere in the U.K. from Glasgow and if being used for travel, a flight, possibly hotel and fuel costs for the return home will be covered by the £250 even if you take your OH for the trip.

GLWTS

Surely a journey to get a new car is all part of the fun? Surprised this hasn't sold yet.

Did you try Sytner?

I had a great journey to get mine, from Glasgow to the Isle of Skye by train then ferry. Drove back over the Skye bridge and down by Eilean Donan Castle, over Rannoch Moore and then down the side of Loch Lomond.

For anyone not considering this car because of distance, a flight from Stansted to Glasgow costs from about £30, which is pretty much free when you're buying a £16k car! If you're feeling fancy you can get BA from Heathrow for around £60.

The bus ride into Glasgow from the airport is pricey at around a tenner, but you can get a hotel room for approximately peanuts.

Sounds like a good excuse for a drive home through the lake district to me. Or the NC500...

Now that does sound like fun to me - makes buying the car that little bit special compared to a 30 minuet drive from a car supermarket

Hi TeeMac

I’ll drop you a message if that’s ok with some additional questions.

Apologies - I’m new to the board and there doesn’t seem to be a PM function unless I’m missing it.

How is best to have a chat about the car for you?

Hello and welcome, you’ll need to make 3 posts before you can message him or you can use the phone number on the AT advert and give him a call.

Good luck

Worth updating the advert on here as well as AT

Sorted, thanks.

I looked on here earlier when you said ad updated and thought I was losing my marbles - never thought of the A/T ad :headbang:

Congrats on the sale, someone has a cracking car

Looking forward to an early start collecting the car tomorrow.

It’s a long drive home but a nice drive and a good chance to get used to the car.

Congrats on the purchase - shame about the weather for the drive home, its looking bleak tomorrow but I am sure it will be an experience and good weather coming in next week to get the roof down

Yes, congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum.

It sounds like you'll have a great drive tomorrow! None of my Z4s was local and I've enjoyed a good drive home - it feels like a great start to the ownership experience. :)

Shame, but looking on the bright side you got an MR instead.
