So my car has pro-nav and also the combox (if thats relevant).
Tried to add it to my connected drive account through the website, but it wouldn't let me do it online. So I completed the form and emailed it along with a scan of the log book (as directed on the web site).
They emailed to say I had to go to the dealer.
Went to my dealer today who said to try the app and that says "the embedded cellular technology is not supported"
So we think the cars tech is obsolete for the latest connected drive features.
He's going to check further, but does anyone here have it working (and, what does it actually do?).
When I had my first Z4 in 2012 I could use the app to find the car, unlock to doors etc etc. Should this still work?
Deb's 1'er is a 2014 model and I set it up the other night....it sent a code to the car that I had to put in the website and it authorised it straight away.
