For Sale 2011 BMW Z4 E89 23i M Sport Highline Edition Melbourne Red £7,950.00

3 Previous owners purchased by me in May 2019.
Car located in Leeds West Yorkshire.
Current Mileage 61,131.

Bought specifically for a European trip the following year 2020, unfortunately COVID prevented that, then for one reason and another the trip failed to get off the ground.
That is, I can say until this year, took car through France, Switzerland and into Italy. Lake Garda, Then to Porto Venere the Italian coast and over to Bologna. Back Via the French Alps Lake Annecy and up through France back to Yorkshire.
Car was faultless and never missed a beat (2,600 miles)

I have now ticked this box so I’m looking for a change, I’m in no rush to sell and appreciate we are getting to the end of summer, but hopefully its priced competitively. ( Happy to take on board constructive input from fellow members)
It would be good to get something in the garage to play with over the winter months.

I’m looking to get into an E85 specifically a Z4M Roadster maybe a 3.0Si Roadster with reasonable miles. I’ve also seen a couple of Z3M Roadsters that have caught my attention, so in no way is the Zed journey over.
If anyone has any of the above happy to Swap P/X have a chat etc for the right car.

The car is 2011 just ticked over onto 61,131 miles during the trip car is now back in the garage where it lives during the winter months, so mileage won’t really alter a great deal now.

Body work is what I would say excellent for the age of the car, there are a few stone chips here and there but nothing major.
If I’m being picky there is a very light dink on the passenger door you can only see it from a specific angle, when the suns shining whilst squinting, sat on a friend’s shoulders, one of those that if you look for it you can’t see it, so haven't done anything about it.

Roof works smoothly as it should no warning lights etc.

Car has usual M Sport bits heated leather sports seats, M Sport Body Styling, 326M Alloys finished in Black a few marks but still look good, Wheels have no cracks and have never been welded or repaired.

Additionally.
Sat Nav with 2024 Maps
IDrive
Parking Sensors front & Rear.
Electrically folding mirrors on the Key
Factory Wind Deflector
I can send the VIN number to any interested parties to check the full spec.

New Battery 2022 but I'll have to check this, forgot to look when I took it out of the garage, in any case its fairly new and not the original from 2011, Kept on trickle charger when not in use over the winter.

Car is fitted with Smart top for one touch roof control and other coding options from the key.

  • New Good Year F1 non-run flats fitted in Feb this year so done about 3000 miles.
Mtec dimpled and grooved Discs front and rear excellent condition. Mtec pads on the front, EBC Greenstuff on the rear.
New Plugs and ignition coils fitted Feb this year. Car had a low-speed miss so went belt and braces and changed the lot, runs without issue now. 2.5 ltr straight six sounds sublime.
Car has also had a remap by Yorkshire remaps, minimal gains but I do think it improves the low-end torque of the car.

Unfortunately, I’ve misplaced the spare key during a recent house move so only one key although if I find it, I will send on.

Good Service History.
I carry out my own Oil and filter changes receipts to prove, last oil and filter change plus air filter week before my trip 17th Aug 2024.

Service History
Print out from Sytner Nottingham.

Nice colour and unusually and good news for a new owner quite a few ‘goodies’..usually 23i are bereft of such things..

Low mileage too..

\GLWTS

Nice looking car. I like a red BMW.

Your car is showing up as requiring the BMW recall.

The private sale market is quiet. I'm not sure how much harder it'll be now summer is ending.

Thanks Guys, Yeah I appreciate the market's tough at the minute.
Recall is the Vanos Screws, I got the recall letter on the 3rd September, will get it booked in next week.

Nice car that at a couple of grand below the retail valuation.

The Highline variants are always well specced and with the recently new tyres and unrepaired set of 326's I'd say it represents great value for someone

GLWTS.

Looks really nice and at a very competitive price point for the spec and mileage. I would lose the first image of the dubious Z4 badge mounted just above the ski hatch. GLWTS

Nice looking E89 in Melbourne Red (biased as have an F31 in the same hue) with lots of spec and good mileage.
I think the painted 326M wheels compliment the colour well. For anyone interested; the photos make the colour look really bright red. It is a much more subtle colour in the flesh (although obviously still red).
Do you have receipts for consumables for the DIY service work?
GLWTS.

Yes, I agree the pictures were taken yesterday, in bright sunshine so does look particularly bright.
Full folder of all receipt's for consumables. Possibly DIY maintenance not to everyone’s taste but I know it’s been done right with quality oil and parts, and done at intervals I’m happy with.
Looking to get into an M Car S50 / S54, even more analogue so I can do even more DIY :driving:

Your car looks fantastic in those photos. GLWTS and with your Z ownership journey.

Just traded for this, Spot the similarities !!!! :driving:

A private swap, or to a dealer?

Did you get a fair price for the E89?

Dealer, managed to get a reasonable price for the E89 and a deal on the Z3 as he couldn’t shift it. As others have said the market is pretty poor currently. I tried selling it the Motorway they valued at £7,200 and the highest bid was 6k. So part ex’d it. I’ve taken the smart top off and selling some other bits. On the whole I’m happy.

Well done, lovely Z3M  I’m glad you showed that profile picture as I’ve a mate who has one that does most runs with us and each time I look in the rear view mirror that’s the image I see because it’s so analog
