2010 s-line 2.3 owner's manual

thanks for the reply. according to the 3.0 N54 i can use 95 RON fuel. but when i put in half a tank of 95 RON in my N52 2.5 the engine light comes on and until i add 100 or 98 RON then engine light on the dash doesn't go off.

I've tried really hard to find one, but it seems that Audi stopped using 2.3 litre engines before they introduced the S-Line trim.
 
The Audi 2.3 was actually an Inline 5. Or at least it was in Europe, maybe they slipped in a secret 6th cylinder for a giggle in the Japanese Market?

I went to a Japanese exporter of cars..found a JDM spec 23i ..you’ll see the model code is ABA-LM25

If you look up the spec then you see the JDM is rated by a Japanese dealer at 204 ps

Also if you check wheel size .com global database you can see the JDM model code of , what a surprise ABA-LM25 and there it is 201 BHP or 204 ps..

I have the same problem. my engine is jdm spec and according to the label i can only use 98 or 100 RON without the engine light coming on. but accordingly to the 'experts' on this site we can use 95 RON because there is no difference in engines or exhaust or catalytic converters, fuel pumps, etc between countries and engines.
According to my correspondence with BMW they made all the E89's in the same factory but tailored the engines, heads, and injection, and fuel compression pumps to meet each countries exhaust requirements.

But like the times of old the Brit's keep the stiff upper lip (like keeping the military stuck to bolt action rifle's as standard up until 1955). Tuner's now put in new chips, remap the engines, put on ceramic headers and upgrade fuel pumps. but accordingly to the Z4 Nazi's here you can not have any more power than the Brit engine.

I posted my engine specs on dyno along with the compression ratio: i also admitted that my engine CPU was probably chipped and i have a ceramic aftermarket exhaust but they fail to accept it (how dare a M16 be better than an MK3*III Enfield!)

my advice on this forum is if they can't actually answer your question and antagonize you, then just ignore or block them.

Post your correspondence with bmw here, showing us that bmw tailor their cylinder heads for different countries.

I think the 13 hour time difference between the UK and NZ might explain a lot of this thread.
Mr Nowool MAY have been on the 'falling down water' at 10am our time. :D :thumbsup:
 
B21, good work on the open source research, you should have joined the entity I work for, you would have done well.

It’s inevitable that a cross section of society appears on any internet site, seems that fortunately there are only a few of this type on here.
 
When i have 5 minutes i will video and YT my 2.3 manual.
Might take too long to scan and pdf it.

Did have a mobile photo convert to pdf app. somewhere.
