Time for my journey with this particular E89 to come to an end. Fantastic car, I've loved every minute of the 20-odd months since it arrived (even the slightly frustrating ones repairing common E89 faults) and have spent a good chunk of time, effort and money getting it to where I'm happy with it. I was quite prepared and just about expecting to keep hold of it a while longer (hence some recent non-urgent maintenance spend) but the right 35iS at the right price came along and is now sitting in the garage, looking slightly menacing.

Car Details
=======
2010 sDrive30i Auto
Sapphire metallic black
Style 295 18" wheels with Pirelli P-Zero Nero front, P-Zero rear, 5.5mm all round. Wheels in excellent condition, no curbing, no cracks.
Ivory white heated nappa leather sports seats + pure white design option (giving extended, colour matched leather) - the nappa leather is far nicer than the standard dimply looking option
iDrive (software updated, maps as at v2020-1)
USB/aux port in arm rest
Android Auto/Apple Car Play (MMI box)
Parking sensors front and rear
11 speaker audio + amp (option S676 - middle option of the 3 available)
Folding mirrors
Rain sensing wipers
Wind deflector and hoop inserts
Cruise control
M-Sport front bumper/sill plates (car is NOT a factory M-Sport)
E9X M-Sport steering wheel with LCI paddles (original skinny Z4 wheel with push/pull paddles can be supplied instead if preferred)
Remus exhaust (still for sale at around £700 - original exhaust included in sale FoC if wanted, can be fitted in place of the Remus which I'll then keep on receipt of deposit if preferred). Zero drone, gives a slightly richer noise at pottering speeds - motorway speeds unaffected. Having spent 3 hours in the 35iS today, the noise is remarkably similar (and nothing like the stock 23i/30i)
Replaced
======
Salmon relays, battery, wiper blades, ambient temperature sensor, roof buttons, boot badge, nearside rear light, oil filter housing gasket, valve cover gasket
Service
=======
Oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, gearbox sump/filter/oil, differential oil, spark plugs, coolant, brake fluid (all April/May 2021)
Mileage currently 105200
"Y8 TDB", will revert to original plate "YF59 LHA"
MOT valid until 03/10/21
Partial service history (original booklet was lost, the owner previous to me bought a new booklet and was in the process of getting stamps from BMW dealers for services previously completed - there are a few present but far more invoices than stamps)
5 previous owners
2 keys, a wad of bills/receipts, original owners handbooks, BMW literature and folders.
Leak free
Generally, the car is in good condition. There are a fair few cosmetic imperfections which I would say are just about in keeping with an 11 year old car at 105k such as some stone chips on the bonnet and some small scratches to the near side front bumper - when freshly washed and polished it scrubs up very well but the black paintwork does like to attract dust very quickly!
The rear bumper has a good few marks on it all around - including some scratches and lacquer peel, but I do have a replacement sitting in the garage which is in near perfect condition. Again, this will be supplied with the car and ideally fitted on it if I can free up some time.
For the sake of this forum advert, I'd also point out: a couple of stone chips on the windscreen (not in drivers view) and a small lip on the front discs. As is the BMW way, the engine had a fairly obvious oil leak when I first bought the car - though never enough to require topping up. My mechanic said it is likely the 4 usual gasket suspects needed doing at some point (oil filter housing, valve cover, oil pan, rear main) but to start at the top and continue downwards - the oil filter and valve cover have been completed as mentioned above, the remaining 2 would be on my longer term radar if keeping the car - parts are cheap, labour around the £350 mark. You get a vague oily smell after a good run but I'd expect this to diminish now the leaks at the top have been sorted and any remaining residue burns away.
Overall though it's a decent, better than average specified car with a lot of usual E89 issues addressed - and drives fantastically well.
Car will be going on Ebay and Auto Trader shortly and is located in South Bristol/Bath (BS39 area).
Any questions please shout.
