Hello all,

After too many years and too many Audis I have recently come back to BMW and am now the proud owner of a lovely black example of an E89.

From the outside it looks standard, but the previous owner made quite a few non-visible modifications. For me, the most attractive of the mods are the Quaife LSD and Koni Special Active dampers.

I'm still very much getting used to the car - it's smaller and lower than anything else I've had for a long time. Greasy winter roads aren't the best for making the most of the power either!

Items on my to do list - other than cleaning and polishing - are upgrading the stereo (it has the base system) and sound deadening.

Welcome..a Quaife LSD is a good addition..in the winter a heavy foot is going to cause issues in a 35is even with a LSD.. :driving:

Plenty of advice on upgrading the audio here..

Quite a few folks here are based in Scotland

Hi and welcome to the forum, looking very nice in black 👍, I’m also very envious of your great Scottish roads.
And also well done and bonus points for the photo on your 1st post

Thanks for the welcome folks! Glad to see there is a good Scottish contingent.
The cleaning has started already - black paint hiding a multitude of sins. This was the roof on second pass!
