Dirt cheap for a Z4 M

Maybe not so much if 2 tail-pipes have fallen off! :o

In all fairness it's hard to value a 10 year old car that has done less then 2,000 miles a year!

But if someone on here buys it PLEASE take the "M" badge off the boot-lid.

“M” badge was on the car when I bought it: never really bothered me one way or the other😊 Car is unmarked and drives beautifully, as you would expect with such a low mileage. Please ask if any more info needed.

You have to remove the badge as the only comments you are receiving are about it. You should be getting people saying that it is a lovely car, with unbelievably low mileage.

You could send the badge to 'tomrdy' at this address and he will pass it on. https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=113406

I suppose the only problem with removing the badge is paint discolouration. But would improve the cars appeal.

Can’t see why people are pulling down a great and interesting car over a badge.

OP your car looks immaculate and while expensive it is worth it in my view as you have something very rare on your hands! GLWTS

I don't think it is expensive. You could own this car for another 10 years and only have 80000 miles on the clock at the end of it. Also, it will probably be worth more than what you paid for it at the end of that time.

I think that at this current moment in time, the Used Car Market is a difficult place to be. There are more influences affecting people's needs - a) Brexit - the indecision of what may or may not happen, b) The fact that the later more refined E89's with a slightly higher mileage, are being up for sale privately for similar money, c) The car would be more of a Weekend Toy and do people have sufficient spare Funds or Space for such a car.

Even BMW's next generation Z4 is being offered with price reductions. A lot of Main Dealers are offering their Used Cars at reduced rates.

The fact that in 10 years time it could be worth more, could be down to what the pound is worth now and then.

Are Petrol cars going to be Wanted in 10 years time?

Collectors very rarely put cars on the road that are 21 years old. Yes they do, but not for long. The E86/E85 signalled the end of an era. The E89 has never had much appeal and the next generation even less so. When desirable petrol engine cars are rare, they will be collectable. My opinion of course. Who really knows, but to try and avoid changing the OP's thread, I personally feel that this car is excellent value for money. Will he sell it?

If I was the OP I would take more photos, give more information and open a new thread that does not have the 'badge' comments.
