IMHO, I'm not sure what BMW is trying to do with their refreshes. I'm referring to the new bonnet ridges on these cars. I think it looks phenomenal on the Z4M, but it looks too busy on the 3er & 6er. Of course, I'm probably biased because I've got an M...

Your thoughts?
 
Not sure on those to be honest. I quite like the smooth bonnets without the lines but I may be biased because I have the 3.0si! :P
 
Seems to be the standard approach to the facelifts. My X5 is the facelift, and also has "the lines" which the pre-facelift did not have.
 
Don't mind it on the 6 series, looks strangely odd on the 3 series, I hadn't noticed that before.

The problem with those two is the second set of ridges near the wings make the bonnet look too busy, best left on the Z4M IMO.
