Ah I do love the 911, each facelift is done tastefully and never makes the outgoing model look instantly dated, a positive thing IMHO. Now, lottery ticket is calling me...

Wow!!! Looks completely different than every other 911 in the world....NOT.
They still have a unique look, no other car is ever mistaken for one, nor are they ever mistaken for anything else.
Until they stop selling, and are no longer seen as the archetypical "sports car", I suppose they figure, "Why mess with success?"

Yep, they also offer so many variations to cater for the masses...C2, C2S, C4, C4S, GT3, GT3 RS, GT2, Turbo, then all the cab and targa variants too...a 911 for everyone :)

I'd have a C4S auto for daily use, and a GT3 RS as a road and track beast

That was my reaction too :-)

Personally, I never cared for the slant nosed 911 look. I have always been more partial to the long hood look .. you know like on that BMW roadster, the Z4

I want a job in the Porsche exterior design department.

Although, interior and mechanics of the 997 were a great step forwards from the 996 IMO. This should be even better!

Dear Porsche please make a new Boxster S with the new direct injection 3.8s engine and a Limited Slip Diff....

Whilst the 911 looks nice I have no use for the rear seats and the boxster has more practical luggage space.

My thoughts exactly, but they have copied Audi and put some LED sidelights in

Admire the engineering to make a back to front designed car perform and handle ever better, but not a great fan of the look.

Looks like a lowered Cayenne to me...
