I have been playing with getting a Z4MC in the new year as my daily driver (have access to the wife's car for really bad weather) but just want to have a fun car once I return my works 320D coupe in Jan. But looking at the running costs (maintanence / fuel) I can see the sense in this lovely car!
@DPG - when would you be looking to move this on? Looking at your pics I think we may be near each other - I am based in Slaithwaite (huddersfield) so would be interested in having a view if you do go with a pvt sale.
@others (sorry DPG) - will I regret not going for the M? Like I said, daily drive, 12k miles a year and not looking to race the local golfs!

Both good cars imo the non (M) engine is lovely I think anyway and it could be argued the non (M) is slightly more suited to a daily driver, a few criticise the electric steering on the non (M) but the Z4M is hydraulic so gives more feel and the Z4M doesn't have the dreaded runflats.Austin said:@others (sorry DPG) - will I regret not going for the M? Not sure about taking it off, I'd probably make a mess.

I wouldnt even bother with the M - No real styling differences, additionally pointless power (for me), extra cost to buy, extra cost to service, extra cost to run, no auto option, greater depreciation rates, less mileage for your money, less boot space, etc, etc the list goes on and on.
However I'm the sort of person who is quite happy with 150bhp / ton so you need to see whats important to you..
