2009 3.0 35i - impulse buy

Hi all

Just bought a 2009 3.0 35i after almost 15 years of wanting a Z4. Up until now family life and personal circumstances haven’t really allowed me to buy one. Well that’s changed now . My other car is a Renault 5e so that might offset the petrol I’m about to burn up.

I did want to ask if anyone has suggestions of any installers in the midlands (Northants / Leicester region) who can help me get CarPlay in the car. I’ve seen there are videos on how it can be done but I’m not all that comfortable taking my car to pieces. I’ll mess something up somewhere.

Congratulations on the purchase by without a photo I’m afraid it’s not real
There are a few videos of a mr12volt MMI installation, I’d recommend following the AnubisZed one, if you take your time and follow the install videos it’s not that hard, I presume you have Idrive?
Although for the first 12 months the engine noise is all you need

Apologies, rectified . It’s definitely real, my wife rolled her eyes and everything.

it made a change from the usual “and how are you going to fit both children in a Z4”.
