Hi all

I am usually put off by multiple owners but should i be when convertible are concerned? Perhaps the owner realises the uk weather does not suite them?

Its a low mileage example without heated seats. Would they be easy to wire in?

Are there any other obviois things to look for?

Multiple owners are frequently found and quite normal for these types of car

Mine is a low mileage one and I’m the 6th owner

Find one that’s had “enthusiast” owners and it will probably have cherished more than a low owner car

A lot of them were originally registered by BMW which adds an owner as well
 
Hi OP,

I bought my current 2006 E86 in May 2016 and it had 5 previous owners, which doesn't seem to be unusual for cars like this. You buy them with the heart, but things like buying houses, having children, just needing more seats or job changes with longer commutes tend to make the head take over! So I wouldn't necessarily be put off by multiple owners.
