This makes me want a coupe, what a great car with all the issues ironed out for years of trouble free motoring.

Seriously makes me tempted to get a coupe, all the best with the sale.

I should also say - Car is now on 53,500 miles exactly - will be rising though as I want to get the most out of it before selling.

Bump - would look at offers (if they are reasonable) other wise will keep it and add necessary funds to the mortgage. - I will give it another two weeks up for sale and if no response I will keep it.

Can't believe a trader hasn't even bitten at this, would have thought it would sell relatively easily, unless of course the traders are too greedy.

I am very surprised it hasnt sold tbh - had a few bogus enquiries from scammers on pistonheads and a couple of pms on here but thats it.

I would have thought that all the money spent on it would make it more attractive to potential buyers rather than less but I suppose its just a case of waiting it out now. On the plus side I still get to drive it :D :thumbsup:
 
Just my thoughts here Andrew , imo the PH advert is doing you no favours :? possibly even alarming to some (even dealers) looking for such a car
If you want to sell it to a stranger then drop the emphasis on the engine work & mods
I would minimise it down to a standard advert covering all the essential + points of the car then once a prospective buyer has actually met you,seen & more importantly heard & been driven in the car broach the subject of the engine rebuild , they may go away & study then be reassured ? They may not
Totally different selling through the forum as you would expect potential buyers from here to know the worth of the work carried out
As proven recently a 57 plate 53k Mcoupe is worth the £17500 you are asking so its just a matter of finding the right buyer :wink:

Hi All, I need the car gone now as the moving date looms closer and, having done some measurements I will not be able to park the car off the road and def not in the garage as I do at the moment.

I will therefore take £16,500!! which I know is ridiculous but I need it gone.

Paul aka MrPT came to sunny Ipswich today and is now the new owner of my Z4MC.

Very sad to see it go but Paul is a great chap and it really helps that it has gone to such a car lover.

Thanks everyone for all the help and advice - really has been invaluable.

I will stay on here as the people are brilliant and hopefully i will be able to see the car in Paul's future posts.

What started off as a pretty bad morning with a stomach bug turned into a really great day. The car is fantastic - a credit to Andrew and the forum. Lovely condition inside and out, and the mods are spot on - I can't believe how planted it feels with the KWs and PSSs. It also has an OEM strutbrace, which was a nice surprise!

Thanks Andrew, for being great company and giving me all the time I needed to go through everything, and all the best with the house move. As discussed, I'd be happy to give you first refusal if I decide to sell in the future. Something tells me you'll be back with a Zed before then though. 8)
