2008 z4 2.0i sport ... Hands free as standard???

Hi,

I'm picking up my z4 next week ... I'm very excited!
Does anyone know if Bluetooth is fitted as standard? as the steering wheel has the hands free button on it but the garage said it doesn't have hands free.. Confused!!!
So if it doesn't how do I get it fitted??

Welcome to the forum. It doesn't come as standard and from what you are saying it has the Multi function Steering Wheel (MFC) which is an extra on all models except the M, AFAIK.

So why would anyone pay extra for an MFC and not have bluetooth? You may well have lucked in as I did on my 2.0!

If you have Bluetooth, you should also have a button with the same icon on the inside door of the centre console compartment... This is the button you use to pair your Bluetooth devices with the car.

There are plenty of threads from people having trouble trying to pair their phones to the car. It is a bit of a fiddly process, but the info is out there.
And no, you can't stream music over the bluetooth - no A2DB, disappointingly.
