2008 headlights fit a 2003?

Would 2008 xenon headlights fit my halogen equipped 2003? I may have a great deal available for a complete set.

I fitted facelift xenons to my 2004 model but I already had xenons, main issue is the wiring, the new headlights don't have inner high beam light, they use xenon for high beam and flash to pass.
Only was to get them to work will mean you have to have lights on DLR so flash to pass works.
Do a search for my thread on this subject. Also you need level sensors and headlight washers to pass MOT with xenons fitted.

Also, I live in Canada, so no MOT BS like you guys have to deal with. My U.S. spec car has self-levelers, so I basically need to know what wiring needs to be modified and if any external intervention is required to reprogram something afterwards.

Funny, I just spoke to the seller who tells me he's already sold a few sets to pre-facelift halogen equipped cars, and it was simply plug-and-play.

Wonder if North American cars are set-up differently than their European counterparts, making this possible...?

I doubt it as pre-facelift have inner bulb for high beam, facelift doesn't. Thus It cannot be plug and play.
You can swap wires around but the easiest solution is to fit a facelift LCM, light switch unit, but you have to have it programmed as it holds mileage data. If you move the car you will get the tamper dot on the dash!!!

So if I find some clear ones that are halogen, those will be plug-and-play no matter what year model they're from (2005-2008)?
