Hi all.

Just got another job abroad so due to even more lack of use I am selling my Z4.

Its a 2008 3.0SI Sport facelift. RARE Space grey and Dream Red leather interior - ELECTRIC and HEATED sports seats.

Later, improved, ‘black top’ N52K engine.

90k miles. I have had the car 18 months and have only done 2000 miles. It was sorned, garaged and on CTEK over the winter months.

MOT until 29th March 2021. Had advisory for exhaust bracket on back box, common fault - mechanic did a quick weld touch up on it.

Service history from BMW at 17,898, 25,821, 35,260, 60,467 and most recently at 88,064. See photo of service book.

4 previous owners + me. last owner was a forum member.

2 keys.

MV2 alloys with Vredestein Ultra Vorti, non run flat tyres. Wheels were refurbed by former keeper prior to my purchase along with new tyres - so only 2000 miles used tyres. Receipts to prove.

I planned to keep this and still may, so I have done quite a few mods and upgrades, such as -

Roof motor relocated to boot by 'Durham Dave' - Motor is in pristine condition. See photo.

20mm & 15mm Precision wheel spacers.
Under seat first aid boxes - for additional storage space.
Replaced Xenon bulbs and Led side lights.
Fitted Peugeot Stubby aerial and new OE base.
Hardwired 12v sockets x 3 for sat nav, dash cam etc.

Fitted Gloss Black kidney grills.

New Roundel badges from BMW fitted by previous owner before I purchased car.

Cruise control already fitted.

Cup holders already fitted.

Factory fitted wind deflector

Genuine ZHP gear knob.

Removed Clutch delay valve to smooth gear change between 1st and 2nd gears.

Fitted Eibachs Pro kit Springs
Fitted Blistein B4 shocks

Replaced top mounts - Meyle front, Lemforder rear.
Replaced drop links - Meyle front, Lemforder rear.
Front lollipop bushes replaced with Meyle ones.
RTAB replaced with Meyle ones.

Factory fitted Xenon headlights

Wheel alignment by Track Torque in York to M settings.

Gaptec RCH+ fitted allowing roof control from key.

Just had electric water pump and thermostat replaced, 100 miles ago as preventative maintenance, costing just under £400.

I have probably missed things, I will edit advert as I remember.

The car now, with the nearly new tyres, suspension refresh, bush refresh and new water pump and thermostat - wants for nothing.

Comes with fleece lined indoor car cover and OBD2 code reader and INPA software.

Will get some more photos up once I’ve given it a fresh clean.

Private plate will be removed upon sale.
(Original plate YA08 CAO)

In my ownership, 2000 miles, only ran on Shell V power.

Looking for £7000.

I am based in Teesside and car is available to view following social distancing rules.

Thank you.

That’s a belter....such a nice car the 3.0si and this is just nicely run in, no reason why it wouldn’t see 300k + with ease with regular oil changes.

I’m in the market for a well looked after 3.0si manual however my budget is £6k. Let me know if we can have a conversation should you not generate interest at your current asking.

Lovely car & if I'm not mistaken very rare one being space grey.

Thanks, I am obviously biased but I love the grey and red combination.

Thanks John. Yes, mechanically the car is nice and fresh! Bodywork and interior is in excellent condition for age, with just a couple of marks (which I’ll photograph) - so all in all, a great car.....but I would say that!

Thanks Julian but I don’t think I could come to within your budget. I know you don’t generally make money on cars and I don’t expect to on this, but with the amount I have spent and the things I have spent it on - I think my asking is price is fair. Good luck with your hunt! Plus as I suspected my new job may be delayed due to Covid19 travel restrictions so I am in no rush to sell.

What’s the road tax on this?
I believe it’s £330 a year if you pay up front. As I only use it sparingly I tax it monthly as and when I need to, for £28.87.

Julian..
With the utmost respect: Are you having a chuckle?!
The OP's ask is £7.5k and your budget is £6k..
If, and I mean IF - you bag this car for your £6k budget, I'll be bloody sh'mazed
Happy hunting for a 3.0Si manual for your budget :driving:
Cheers

Nothing wrong with asking, the old saying goes if you don't ask you don't get. I once purchased a Mini Cooper which was being advertised on ebay for almost 12K for 9.5k by simply asking! The worst that can happen is that you will get a no!

Bad bits.

2 marks on body work worth mentioning which were there when I purchased.

Scuff mark on drivers door, under door handle.
Grazed lower bumper on passenger side corner. Cannot see unless you lay down and make it eye level.

Cracking advert, obviously an honest and well cared for car. Who ever buys this is getting a cracker! Glwts

Thanks, tried to be as thorough as possible - as the former owner (forum member) was with me when I purchased it!

Strong money but looks a clean example.

GLWS

I know it’s strong money but should offer the new owner trouble free motoring. I do believe it’s a fair price, all things considered. I don’t need a quick sale either. Will just have to see how I get on. The market will decide :D

Agree this is a lovely car, and I think well priced given what’s been done. Also love a grey / red combo 😁

Next major expense will be an inspection 2, but probably not for about 12k miles, so could be 2/3 years or more before that’s needed if it’s a weekend car. Good luck 👍
