Time to pass this beaut on; a very rare ‘Hellrot’ 3 litre roadster, the last production year of the E85s

It’s been a dream to own and drive, a real head tuner. I’ve owned it since June 2015 when it was on 35k and it’s never missed a beat.

£7250 ONO

2008 Bright Red (Hellrot) Z4 3.0si SE Roadster
81,700 miles, FSH (due a service over summer)
File full of receipts and a stamped service book
Fresh MOT on 07.06.19
Owned since June 2015, 3 previous owners.
2 keys
18” style 32 alloys – recently refurbished in silver and in immaculate condition
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics all round with plenty of tread
Hub centric Spacers (20mm rear 15mm front)
M Sport Seats – electric, heated
M Sports steering wheel (tri colour)
Factory fitted windbreaker
Cruise Control
Aluminium weighted gear knob
Quantum Remap (claimed 9% power increase)
CDV delete (smooth’s out notchy 1st & 2nd gear changes)
Back box DVL modification – releases the sound of the straight six with lots of pops and burbles without the annoying motorway drone of some modified exhausts.
SE springs – not as harsh as the M Sport springs, rear springs were replaced by previous owner (I’m including a new set of FX lowering springs in the sale)
JVC stereo (Bluetooth, hands free, streaming)
Stubby Ariel
Roof motor relocated to boot
Original handbook, service book, factory supplied toolkit

Plate included in the sale (legally spaced 'CCZ 450' number plate included)

Bodywork in good condition with no dents or obvious scratches, some minor marks here and there as you would expect of an 11 year old car. I’ll be sad to see this go, as many forum members will know its been cherished.

Same here can't believe it's going saw how much work was put into getting it perfect!

Hopefully, something interesting to replace it

I thinks there’s a nice M on the way based on a very quick response a week or so ago

:o seen this car a good few times , not only rare Si roady in red but also clearly cossetted & cared for car , new owner will be chuffed i'm sure & let's hope its stays on the forum :) if not Colin i doubt you will struggle to see your ask on Pistonheads , Ebay or AT
Look forward to seeing what replaces it , hopefully something you will enjoy driving :driving:

A cherished car for sure Colin - and I'm positive it's one you will look back on and say it was one of the best you owned. Curious about it's replacement for a couple of reasons.... 1) It'll have to be good to be worth letting a 3 litre red roadster go and 2).... you're letting the Zed themed personal plate go with it. The plot thickens... :-?

Someone's going to get a cracker! - hopefully a Forum member

Well someone is going to get a pretty rare and cherished 3.0Si E85.

Colin, I hope you are staying within the Z4 fold but GLWTS anyway.

3 months too late for me! :headbang:

Red was my preferred choice!

Looks a fantastic example and a great price.

I’m sure it won’t be around for long - GLWTS.

Good luck with the sale Colin.

Very nice motor.

I reckon the replacement will be something special.

I  sad to see Colin! I hope the sale of the car isn’t the end of seeing you on runs- always enjoyed a chat with you and Mrs Marlon!
