I've just had a new roof motor fitted 2 weeks ago , been fine no problems this morning I put it down and when I got to work it wouldn't come back up again I've checked fuses etc I have no noise coming from the motor any clues ?

Do you know how to activate the bypass?
You’ll need a helper
In the boot area you’ll see a red loop on the upper left hand side of the boot opening
Pull that and twist to lock it
That releases the pressure in the system
Then two of you can lift the roof into closed position
After that you can pop the cover off the roof where it meets the windscreen and lock it closed with the Allen key you should have in your car tool kit?

Ahhh cool thank you, I have managed to shut it and it closes with the button when you go to drop it again you have a red light on it will drop the windows and release the clips but thats it, I have checked in the boot all the shelf seems to be ok
Yes so 2 weeks ago when I replaced it the technician left it accessible and I have pulled it out
I was thinking it was more hydraulic just strange over 2 weeks
Im not the best at diagnosis lol but I felt after checkin the obvious it was pointing that way
