I have these on rear and same make model on front
hankook ventus rs4 255/35zr18 90w
Previous owner put them on and I love them! Run flats are junk compared to these. Any opinions? Any better options? I have a drywall screw in rear and don’t know if they can repair it.

I have hancook ventus tyres on our yeti but they s1’s, they’ve been very good so far.
How far away from the sidewall is the screw & has it split the tyre or just made a round hole?

Isn’t a yeti a cooler? lol
Drywall screw is in middle tread.

You should be fine getting that plugged or even cheaper plug it your self. Are you loosing tyre pressure? It may not go right through, if it is in the tread, not between the treads.

Better options there are plenty.

There are various tyre review and test websites and YouTube channels.

The top 2 are usually the Michelin Pilot Sports or Goodyear Eagle F1.

Personally I prefer the Goodyear's as they tend to be a few quid cheaper and trade blows with the Michelin's. You cannot go wrong with either.

I have had the Goodyear's on at least 3-4 different cars now and it's what I personally recommend to all friends and family. However I am aware the Michelin's are just as good albeit usually a bit more expensive.

I fitted Kumho Ecstas to mine and they've been fine.

I hope you can get your tyre repaired OP.

Goodyear Eagle F1's on a 2.0i sport here, corners like its on rails. I've had Hankooks, Vredestein etc on a Seat FR and although they were all great in the dry, I had a few moments on seriously wet roads. The Eagles, on which I have done 6,000 miles since Jan, haven't given me any concerns.

I have Michelin Pilot Sport on mine. Better than the Goodyear Eagle F1'sI had on it previously.

Pilot Sport ‘what’ vs Eagle F1 ‘what’?

Both have many versions.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 that I had fitted to the car 7 years ago.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 that were fitted 3 or 4 years ago.

I obviously don't do a lot of miles!

I have F1 Asy's on my Z4 and am pleased with them. I put Asy 5's on my other ca and there was a noticeable increase in road noise. Anyone else?
