It's a connector with a little flap clip you need to lever up with a flat head screw driver or similar I believe.

A new one will at least come with a two year warranty

Looks like my high note has just failed - anyone know if that's nearside or offside?

Easy enough to fit but remember you'll have to chop off the connector loom and replace with a couple of spade connectors. I doubt the quality or sound will inspire. Get a known make like Stebel if you can't find OEM on eBay.

I replaced mine with dual trumpet air hours. Might as well have something to wake poor drivers up with....
