Nothing to do with me but this looks stunning!

Does look good.

£17k would be a fair selling price I think.

No cruise control, electric / dimming mirrors or upgraded stereo, but well specc'd other than that.

5 keepers and only 21,000 miles

I think that makes it 6 as it is 5 previous keepers + the current one.

I would be ooout because of that.

I still think it's a devious way to display the number of keepers. As above DPG thought 5 where as PVR and I believe it would be 6.

Nice car, but really annoying ad and background, couldn't read the text without straining :(

I think age is a better indication than mileage.

A 6 year old car with 5 owners isn't completely unheard of. Many people keep these cars for 1 year and then fire on.

It could be that BMW owned the car for a few months, technically being the first owner, meaning only 4 real owners.

I think you'd need the full story before drawing any conclusions.

I'm the 5th owner of my car (6.5 years old), but the two previous owners owned the car for a combined 5.5 years (4 years and 18 months respectively).

6 years and 6 owners - I would start to think what is wrong with this car ...

If the last owner had had it 3-4 years then it wouldn't be so bad.

I just think you need to see exactly how long each owner has had it for before you make a sweeping statement/ conclusion.

Don't judge a book by the cover as they say.

Hardly a sweeping statement, is it. Stating 6 owners over 6 years is (as I said in my opinion) way too many and no matter how much detailed analysis you can do on that, you can never get away from that fact.

Agreed, 6 owners is a lot. Either they bought it and couldn't afford to run it, or mechanical issues that have been pushed on from owner to owner

You can't get away from the fact it's had 6 owners, no. But 6 owners doesnt mean it's a lemon. Agreed, yes, it MIGHT mean it's a lemon. But until you've looked at the actual history and not merely the headlines I think it would be foolish to rule this car out.

Innocent until proven guilty imo (I'm on a bit of a cliché fetish tonight).

My car as an M.

Had 4 owners in 5 years when I bought it and was owned / sold by BMW 3 time also didnt put me off it though as it was about spec and condition..

Don't get the big deal with high amount of owners.... In my experience it is a good thing as most people who own a car for a long time tend to get used to the niggles and think "I will get that done one day". When I buy a new car I normally spend few weeks sorting out all the niggles because it is new to me and I want it perfect. Now if a car has had that done 6 times in 6 years then I may be in fantastic shape! Just my 2ps worth.

The interior of that car is stunning. .....oh its the same as my Si coupe. I did think all M's came standard with the leather dash tho?
