2007 n52 engine won't idle

My 2007 BMW Z4 3.0si just this past week at gas pump started and immediately cut off.This has persisted,I changed the MAF but it still does this,if I rev its fine. and sometimes runs good until you cut it off and then does it again.Wont idle, anybody know

Most likely will be valvetronic motor or eccentric cam sensor. You can pull the electrical connector off the latter and see if it improves matters.

Also check how much vacuum you have on the crankcase by comparing to my video here... https://youtu.be/VhcqVSkhIeA
