When you begin a response there's an "Attachments" tab at the bottom - click that then just add them.

FWIW I've noticed when you add more than one the first one you add appears at the bottom in your post, and the last one added at the top.

You can upload them directly to the forum - click the “add files” button in the “attachments” tab at the bottom of the reply message box.

With them uploaded you can click “insert in line” to place each picture at the cursor location in your text.
