Hello all,

Unfortunately I need to part ways with my Z4C only a few months after buying it, since my wife is now out of work. I was a bit hesitant to list it on this group as I didn't buy the car through this site and I haven't been here long, but it has been an excellent source of information both prior to and during my ownership!

I've tried to include as much detail as possible in the Autotrader advert, but please let me know if you have any questions.

I'm looking for £8,500 however I am open to reasonable offers.

Based in County Durham.

Thanks!

It’s a shame that your Z4C ownership is being curtailed. Still, that looks like a nice clean car for somebody. GLWTS.

That's a shame to have to sell. Hopefully you'll be back soon. Are those my old wheels on there ?

OP: As others have already said, shame she has to go so soon into your ownership.. :|

However, as pretty as yours looks & as a recent comparison (Coupe for Coupe & miles for miles, etc), - I’m sure you’ll have seen the following:
https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=125997
And, the interest sparked and prompt deposit being placed on her..

....£ for £ and goodies / trinkets included, your initial ask - might need a gentle massage?

However, all it takes is for one person tone looking for a car in your colour / spec etc :driving:

Good luck with the sale

Nah, I think it’s a fair ask, particularly as the OP has indicated he’s open to offers. As you say Woolybear, it only takes one person.

Mr Wilks’s was a lovely car for sure, and sold quickly, but I wouldn’t ever have considered it because it was modified and had bling wheels. OP’s car looks original and is a nice colour. That’s just what some people like.

:? I also offered a set of original 108s freshly refurbed for anyone wanting less "bling" & a quad conversion is hardly modified :( pretty sure for 99% of potential buyers its a very desirable enhancement to any Si .

No disrespect to you or your car Mr Wilks, in fact I think someone got a bargain. Just offering encouragement to the OP.

The op car looks very well & more importantly with a 13yr old 90k+ car it reads well too , sounds like no expense spared upkeep which paired with condition often makes miles on clock insignificant  he's open to offers which always encourages contact & i can't see why he will struggle to sell , the Si E86 is unlikely to ever become undesirable so for the cars out there that are well kept whether modded or not i think demand will always outstrip supply , jmo of course , anyone is more than welcome to disagree :)

Thank you all for the positive comments, it is a shame to have to sell as I'm very much enjoying the ownership! Hope to be back in an E85/E86 some day :)

Yeah that's right, I only just got round to getting them refurbished and on the car last month! Really pleased with how they turned out.

It's a real shame you are having to sell in the circumstances you describe OP. :(

But going by the photos on your advert I don't think your car had OE Bi-Xenons - might be worth checking that out to avoid any issues.

Still your car looks smart so good luck with the sale.

I'm still getting over selling my Montego Blue one in January for so much less. :(

Thanks Mr Tidy.

It's not all doom and gloom I should add, we're hoping to use some of the proceeds from the sale of the car to fund my wife's new business.

Ah that may be an error on my part, the etching at the top of the headlight says 'D2S' and when I searched online they appeared to be Xenon's. When searching through the E86 brochures I struggled to conclude if these were standard or not.

Good to hear it isn't all bad news.

The Bi-Xenons were an option on the 3.0Si - my 1st one had them but my 2nd didn't. They were only fitted as standard to the Ms - so now I've got them again. :)

The giveaway is that the Xenons are self-levelling, so you only get one thumb-wheel next to the light switch for the brightness of the dash lighting.

Always worth having a picture on the thread so people don’t have to leave the forum page to see what’s on offer

They came out well and suit the car  It wont hang around for long ,get the wifes business on the go and hot step back into another car.
Good luck with the sale.

Hi TS,

I'm really interested in this but can't PM you as I'm a newbie!
Do you have any time in the next week when I could come and view it? Can you drop me a PM?

Thanks!

Looks like it's too late - the link to the advert doesn't work! Maybe it has been sold.

Hey TS94,

Noticed this appear on ebay this morning, at a suspiciously low price compared to what you were looking for - pretty certain it's the same car. I'veno way of knowing if you still own the car, or if you managed to sell it on, but thought it might be worth flagging to you in case there's something dodgy afoot.
