Ok – here goes – this is genuinely the last thing I thought I would do but I am just not able to justify keeping it. Only for sale through here at the moment as I would like to think it goes to another enthusiast who will enjoy it as much as I have.

2007/07 E86 3.0Si Sport Coupe (265bhp) - Montego Blue – Manual with Pearl Grey leather interior. Current mileage: 92420
Built Dec 2006 with n52K (black top engine) first registered OTR June 2007.

Spec includes:
• MFSW,
• Rear Parking Sensors,
• Auto dipping rear view mirror,
• Auto headlights and auto windscreen wipers,
• Aux input,
• Chrome line interior,
• MV2 18” alloys,
• M sport seats, electric with drivers side memory function,
• M sport Steering wheel,
• M sport suspension,
• Cup Holders
• Whippy aerial
Unfortunately, no Nav (I don’t think you are missing anything!), no xenons, no heated seats (never bothered me).

Full service history. Routine Maintenance as follows:
• 20388 – Mar 2009 – Oil Service, Pollen Filter & Brake Fluid (BMW)
• 38694 – May 2011 – Insp 1 & Brake Fluid (BMW)
• 58785 – May 2012 – Oil Service, Pollen Filter & Brake Fluid (BMW)
• 77287 – Sept 2014 – Insp 2 & Brake Fluid (BMW)
• 82164 – Mar 2017 – Oil Service, Pollen Filter & Brake Fluid (BMW Specialist – Warne Motors)
• 85601 – Feb 2018 – Oil Service, Pollen Filter (BMW Specialist – Warne Motors)
• 89012 – Feb 2019 – Oil Service, Pollen Filter, Brake Fluid, Air Filter (BMW Specialist – Warne Motors)
• 91061 – Feb 2020 – Oil Service (BMW Specialist – Warne Motors)
• 92403 – Feb 2021 – Oil Service & Brake Fluid (BMW Specialist – Warne Motors)

Recent non-routine maintenance as follows:
• 77000 – DSC/ABS module repaired/rebuilt
• 80000 – New rear pads and discs, starter motor replaced
• 81000 – New battery, New front pads and discs, front suspension lower arms
• 82000 – new gearbox oil, new RTABs, new front drop links, new front ARB bushes, wheel alignment, new rear coil springs (Suplex), new oil cooler gasket and oil filter housing gasket, exhaust bracket re-welded
• 83000 – new fog lights
• 84000 – new rear ARB bushes, new rear drop links, new rear suspension top mounts, new rear Bilstein B6 struts
• 87000 – new front Bilstein B6 struts, new fronts suspension top mounts, new coil springs (Suplex) & spring pads, wheel alignment, MV2’s refurbed
• 88000 – new waterpump and thermostat. Coolant replaced with BMW OEM fluids

The car is completely standard apart from B6 struts, Suplex springs and ZHP gearknob (original comes with car). The car has always been serviced by Warne Motors (BMW specialist) in my ownership. I have a file full of receipts for work done.

If I am being critical the paint it is not perfect on the n/s wing and the front has some rash at the front – but nothing unusual on a car of this age - I would be considering a front end re-spray if I were keeping it.

Car is in great condition for its age, drives really well and has never caused me any problems. Tyres are Good Year Assymetric 3’s (not run flats) all round and have 5mm tread on rear and 6mm on front. MOT until Feb 2022. Complete book pack, two keys and valet key present. Private plate will be coming off prior to sale.

If you want a good solid and mechanically sorted car with all the big known issues sorted then this is the one. Located mid Suffolk. Price £8250 – but I am open to sensible offers. Some photos below – plenty more available if wanted.

Can you please call me on 07388457596. Am in the market for a si. Shaz. Kind regards

Even with a relatively low spec OP id say you are aiming £1k low on your ask with where the market sits right now  wouldn't be at all surprised to see it snaffled by a dealer & re appear at £9500 :(

I don’t think Clarkie would sell to a trader and has made that clear.

I agree this car needs to go someone who really wants one and will cherish it.

It needs to be enthusiastically owned and cared for. Special cars these z4 coupes and rare

Anyone who is on these forums and looking a z4 coupe knows how amazing these cars are.

Have to agree. Seems very competitively priced. Maybe a tad too cheap.

I have spoken to the vendor and honestly he seems very genuine and clued up about the car. He is totally transparent and honest judging by his conversation.

He is fully aware of the car and it’s positive and negatives and he is being realistic.

Shaz 79 - thanks for the kind words and good to catch up earlier.

I love this car and I will be really sad to see it go but my head is ruling my heart and I just can’t justify a weekend toy at the moment. The car is priced to sell and reflects the not quite perfect paint on bumper/ front end. If that was 100% then it would be priced with a 9 at the beginning. I am not accepting any silly offers but I also want to move it on (before I change my mind!) I !) Otherwise it’s a great machine with the majority of the typical Z4 issues dealt with.

Hello There!

I have just joined the forum as I am looking for a z4 coupe as a weekend toy and have just spotted this stunning blue one.
Where abouts in Suffolk is the car based? I am in Ipswich and have found that there are not many of these on the road and they all seem to be miles away all around the country when for sale!

Please could I have a contact number if possible so we can chat at some point if thats OK?

Many thanks

Never understand this position folk have with dealers. Yes, why wouldn’t they command more? They would offer some sort of come back, they have overheads, prep, storage, warranties. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. A private sale is always going to command less. You’ll never get what dealers ask.

Completely agree but if the ask of a car wasn't so alluring then would they bother trawling the forums for private sales generally thinking the cars will be well kept & require little spend before they are marketed , i think the record turnaround was a forum car ( imola ZMR iirc) collected late on a Saturday then on PH before Sunday lunch . Its not illegal , it doesn't concern me , my comment was merely pointing out that the op was asking noticeably less than any similar cars .

I have just seen your Coupe for sale. I am located in Shropsshire so pretty much across the country. Your car sems to have had all of the most common issues taken care of. I will try to PM you. Seems that since I am a new member I am not able to PM.

Thanks to all advice re posting my contact details for all to see. I should have been more cautious. Is there any way that my initial post with my details can be removed? I also now see that the car was sold about a week ago - would be helpful if the For Sale Notice could have been updated as Now Sold. Would have saved me a lot of wasted time.

You may want to edit this post as it gives the whole world (yes the whole world) all of your contact details, email address and first name.
