116,000 miles, 4 previous owners, N52 engine with later plastic valve cover.
M Sport Suspension, Heated Electric Sports Seats, Multifunction Steering Wheel, cruise control, Auto lights/wipers/rear view mirror, Parking sensors. Business radio with Bluetooth phone and aux input. The car is completely standard.
I bought this car in April 2015 at 69,000 miles. The previous owner was an Engineer at Bentley who had used it to commute from Manchester to Crewe. In my 5 years of ownership it has been used daily for commuting approx. 15 mainly motorway miles each way + occasional longer trips to Scotland and Nationally adding 47,000 miles.
During my ownership all servicing and maintenance has been undertaken by myself. I am a Mechanical Engineer and experienced home mechanic. Adding up all the receipts it seems I have spent over £3000 on parts alone(!), much of this resolving E86 “common problems”.

Both front calipers have recently been replaced, it’s also been through two sets of rear springs in the past.
Bodywork in my opinion is very good for the mileage and age considering it has had no work done. Carpark door dents have been avoided by careful parking and the wheels were refurbished (power coated) 18 months ago. The front bumper is due a respray and there is a small scuff on the driver’s side rear corner.
The interior is clean with minimal wear. The driver’s seat bolster has been retouched in the past and still looks good. I fitted new BMW mats a few months ago. Everything on the car works.
Oil use is approx. 300ml per 1000miles, I’ve only ever used Mobil 1 5w30 along with Tesco 99 Fuel.
I will include with the car a BC cables OBD kit with INPA/TIS plus a C110 fault reader.
The current MOT runs until August 2020 but will require 3 new tyres which have just reached the wear bars (1 was replaced more recently due to a puncture). It is currently running on Michelin Pilot Sport Runflats all round.
I also suspect that it will require new rear brake discs in the near future.

Following some questions I have attached more images of the bumper/scuff and condition of the wheels.
I have not replaced the tyres yet as I felt the next owner may wish to choose their own non-runflats. If I come to replace them myself it will be with 3 more PS3 runflats.
