2007 BMW Z4 2.5i SE Roadster - Manual - 98k - Stratus Grey, Red Leather, FSH, £3750
Due to the arrival of the new white coupe, I’m putting my Z roadster up for sale. Unfortunately I can’t keep them both! So here goes:
- 2007 (57) Z4 2.5i SE roadster
- 98,781 miles
- Full dealer and specialist service history
- Stratus grey (Stunning colour and quite rare)
- Red leather interior (BMW Oregon Dream Red)
- Current plate is JE55 WHO which will be transferred onto my new coupe in due course. This one will return to its original plate WF57 AZX.
- Two keys and loads of paperwork.
- Located near Derby.

I bought it in 2014 with 42k on it from a BMW main dealer. It was in mint condition when I got it and it’s certainly not had a hard life since. I was amazed at when I was cleaning it just how good condition it’s in - the interior is nigh on spotless apart from some light wear on the drivers’ side seat bolster. Outside there are a few tiny marks on the paintwork that only the most eagle-eyed would spot - so much so that they’re not easy to photograph!
During my ownership it’s had:
- ABS pump (under BMW warranty)
- Eccentric shaft sensor
- Rear springs
- Front suspension arms and bushes (lollipops)
- N/S rear wheel bearing
- Bosch S3 battery
- Bosch coils and NGK spark plugs
- Starter motor
- DLV backbox (sounds lovely and doesn’t drone)
- Roof motor moved to the boot - works beautifully.
- Refurbished steering wheel from Royals
- Front bumper resprayed and other small chips/marks rectified (I’m a bit obsessive about that sort of thing so got one of the best body shops in Derby to do it!)
- Clutch delay valve removed (better gear changes). The CDV will be included if you want to reinstate it.
- Cruise control retrofitted
- USB stereo interface in the glovebox.
- New boot brake light (genuine BMW) - original was cracked as they do.
- Replaced badges on bonnet and boot lid - both genuine BMW (the old ones were looking a bit sorry for themselves)
It’ll be sold with its original Style 104 wheels (no tyres) as well. They are in the loft so will add photos tomorrow! They won’t fit on the new coupe so may as well go to the new owner.
Loads more pictures here, including of service book, some receipts (I keep almost everything, so this is just a selection!) and option codes. Also an Excel file of all the work done to it and when.
LINK REMOVED, now sold.
