Good afternoon all,

For sale I have my 2006 BMW Z4M Coupe in Sapphire Black with Imola Red Leather which I purchased in June 2020 at circa 76,000 miles. The car now has 80,700 miles. I am the fourth owner and the car has full service history and the breakdown is as follows:-

Running in service - 19/12/06 - 1,207 miles.
Oil Service, microfilter & brake fluid - 14/03/08 - 10,915 miles.
Inspection 1 & microfilter - 08/09/09 - 23,125 miles.
Oil Service & brake fluid - 03/10/11 - 35,681 miles.
Inspection 2 - 19/06/13 - 47,642 miles.
Oil Service & brake fluid - 27/10/14 - 58,410 miles.
Inspection 1, microfilter & brake fluid - 08/09/16 - 67,256 miles.
Oil Service - 29/03/2018 - 70,587 miles.
Inspection 2, microfilter & brake fluid - 05/02/2020 - 76,409 miles.
Oil Service - 23/06/2020 - 77,061 miles (rod bearings replaced).
Oil Service - 31/08/2020 - 78,005 miles.
Brake fluid - 21/12/2020 - 78,392 miles.
Vanos overhaul (Everything M3s) - 29/05/2021 - 79,279 miles.
Coolant change - 06/09/2021 - 80,495 miles.

The clutch and dual mass flywheel were replaced prior to my ownership at circa 72,000 miles in January 2019.

Car has had an MOT on 27th October 2021 with no advisories. Next MOT due 26th November 2022.

The car is always warmed up for 15 minutes and kept under 3k rpm in this timeframe.

I have spent just under £5k in my ownership and have had the following done:-

Rod bearings replaced with genuine BMW components (77,061 miles). Oil and filter were changed again 944 miles after having the bearings replaced (car was run in again and not driven over 3k rpm during this period). I also have the old bearings which you can have to see the wear!
Mirror John rear view mirror (the original mirror unfortunately leaked after a hot and sunny day).
New genuine BMW windscreen and seal (June 2020).
New exhaust clamps.
New Michelin Pilot Sport 4s all round (12th November 2020 at circa 78,000 miles).
Fang protectors.
Vibratech engine mounts (fitted by RBM).
Replaced engine mount bracket bolts as preventative maintenance (fitted by RBM).
HEL braided hoses (fitted by RBM).
Brake lines replaced in kunifer (fitted by RBM).
Powerflex rear trailing arm bushes (fitted by RBM).
Replaced rear drop links (fitted by RBM).
Robbs Clutch Stop.
Vanos rebuild with Everything M3s (Beisan component upgrades) including new spark plugs, CPV seal replaced, Diff input seal replaced, pre cat lambda sensors, cruise control retrofit (May 2021). Darragh also compression tested the engine which came back healthy.
Replaced MAF sensor.
Recent gearbox oil change, recent coolant change, new sump sieve gasket and oil (September 2021 - RBM).
Replaced n/s headlight washer jet and piping.

The car has the following specification from factory (the full specification list will be in an image below):-

Carbon leather dash.
TV.
Nav.
Heated & memory seats.
Rear parking sensors.
Bluetooth (Phone connectivity).
DSP.

*Please note, the aeros side skirts have been removed and standard side skirts fitted. I will upload new pictures shortly.*

I have also retrofitted an AUX connection and fitted a blue music device to allow streaming of music by bluetooth. The car also has a strut brace.

Being brutally honest, the car could do with the wheels being refurbed (there is laquer peeling and minor curbing to some of the wheels), the front bumper could do with a respray, there are some minor marks around the car, please bear in mind this is not a new vehicle.

I have ensured that mechanically this is sound and no expense has been spared. I didn't plan to sell this so soon, but the reality is it is barely getting used and I could invest the money elsewhere.

Thanks very much! I will be sad to see it go but it's not getting used enough.

MOT should be done by Saturday (pending I can get fuel)!

Nice car this one, I've seen it in the metal and whoever buys it will have years of trouble-free motoring given all the maintenance spend. GLWTS

Such a shame you are having to sell OP, but if the car isn't getting used it's just an expensive ornament!

Apart from the paint colour mine is almost your car's twin, even down to mileage, strut-brace and Aeros. :)

Anyway yours sounds like a great example so GLWTS.

Thanks Mr Tidy. Yours is lovely. I really wanted an MC in silver grey.

I have updated the main ad as the Aero side skirts will be removed prior to sale (a forum member has agreed to buy these). Standard side skirts will be painted and fitted.

This was my pride and joy for 7 years or so before Sharif bought it :)

Ah I wish I could have this back off of you Sharif, if only the garage had a bit more space! Good luck with the sale

Thank you Chris. How is the F Type going?

I'm gutted to be selling it, especially after all the work I've put into it. At least the next owner won't have to worry too much about big maintenance issues.

I've arranged for the dents to be taken out of the front wing and will be polishing the headlight to try and remove the cloudiness.

I would consider a part exchange such as a Clio 182/197 or 5 door Golf GTI ED30 and cash my way.

Car is now on standard side skirts, the dents have been removed from the o/s front wing and the o/s headlight has been polished and looks great.

I will try to clean the car this weekend and upload some more pictures.

Price reduced to £18,995.

I've not been able to get around to cleaning the car and taking new photos yet as I've done my back in unfortunately.

I will do so shortly. I will also update the advert when the MOT has been carried out.

Apologies for the delay in coming back to you. I've done my back in so will not be getting back on 2 wheels anytime soon unfortunately.

Took the car for its MOT today and it passed with no advisories. Next MOT is due 26th November 2022.

Bump.

I have just fitted a replacement rear parking sensor (I was getting the long beep when putting the car in reverse) as one had failed. The rear PDC is back and fully operational.

Car has now been sold.

It has gone to another enthusiast who I am sure will cherish it moving forwards.

Thanks Nathan. I was indeed sad to see it go.

However, it's gone to a really good home with a family of enthusiasts (one has made an E46 M3 touring!).

Congrats on your RS, it looks amazing!
