Manual Z4 Coupe - Sport for sale – registered 22/12/2006.
95,650 miles. This will increase slightly as I am using it occasionally.
Selling as we have a baby and I need a more practical car.

The car is located in Woodbridge, Suffolk. IP12

Ruby Black
Pearl Grey Oregon leather interior.
The car is completely standard.
5 previous owners including myself.

MOT carried out 03.11.2022 at 95,362 miles.

Service history
26/07/2010 – 15,760 miles - Cooper BMW
14/01/2013 – 33,108 miles – Snows BMW
30/04/2014 – 54,251 miles – Snows BMW
04/05/2016 – 62,348 miles – Sytner Sunningdale BMW
04/04/2018 – 78,376 miles – Hemingstone Garage -Independent BMW specialist
29/01/2021 – 93,896 miles - Hemingstone Garage -Independent BMW specialist

In November 2020 - I had dents in the front wings removed and the front and rear bumpers repainted. The front as it was looking a bit tired and the rear because I slightly scuffed it in the work car park!
In September 2021 - All four wheels were refurbished.

The tyres are all Dunlop Sport RT2 Maxx – with about 4-5mm remaining. Two of the rim protectors on the tyres are damaged, but this caused no issues at the MOT. This can be seen in the pictures in the link below.

There are a few age-related marks and stone chips on the bonnet.
There are a few minor age-related scratches on the body and wing mirrors.
The driver's seat bolster is worn and could do with restoring but the leather is not torn at all. Furniture Clinic sells a leather restoration kit and can make it in Pearl Grey.

Such a shame you are having to sell up, but congratulations on becoming a Dad.

This was my first Z4! Ruby Black was an individual colour and it has Bi-Xenons, heated seats plus the DSP Professional stereo. New water pump at 60K miles too. :(

GLWTS.

Sorry for chiming in but this seems like a low price to me, out of interest why so low please?

I’m not sure it is, I suspect the OP has researched the market and factored in the work that needs doing.

Quite a number of E86’s and E85’s have sat unsold at prices north of £10k, for months on end. A crazy market can only get so crazy, and it’s December.

No worries, it's as True-Blue says. I think I have priced it reasonably to hopefully sell it sometime soon.

Thank you for noting some of the features of the car! It has been good fun, but now our child is 8 months old, I've run out of excuses to keep it!

I can relate to that situation.

My nephew drove my E46 325ti Compact in 2015, so then I was looking out for one for him which worked out well - until he became a Dad in 2016! Baby seats in a hatch were painful, so a few months later it got replaced by an E46 325i Touring.

I hope you can get a sensible replacement that still provides a bit of fun.

Hi All
I'm now the new owner, great to be on the forum, I look forward to scrolling through lots of threads to gain a better understanding of the car, events etc. Does mean my M2 Comp (Sunset orange 6,400 miles, if any one is interested?) will now have to go as have a Lotus Emira on order for next year!

Congratulations Billyidoliser.

I was hoping whoever bought it would be on here, as you'll see further up it was my first Z4 that I bought back in 2014 - that I agreed to sell to "Snails" in a moment of madness in 2016.

If you are interested in a bit more information just post something on here and I'll send you a Private Message with what I know of it's earlier years - you can't send PMs untilyou have made 3 posts.

Hi Mr Tidy
Thanks for getting in touch, would love to know as much as I can about the cars history. Like most on here, I guess, a massive affection for cars, typically "old school"!

Thanks Mr Tidy
Message received, early days with the car, just amazed this derivative has slipped below my "radar" for so long! :D

Good to know you got it OK.

A bit of car history is always interesting. A previous owner of my 2nd Coupe contacted me after I posted a photo of it on Pistonheads!

At least you have discovered the E86 now - enjoy. :driving:
