Thanks for looking at my advert for my 2006 BMW Z4 Coupe SI Sport. I have owned the car since last July but the time has come to sell my pride and joy. This is a very reluctant sale but I have a new Fiesta ST on order and whilst I would like to keep both, I just don’t have the space.

I have thoroughly enjoyed every single mile I have driven in the car. I am the 4th owner and bought it from a chap who treated the car impeccably with no expense spared; he bought it two years earlier when it only had 19k miles as it was the previous owner’s second car, and sold it to me on 48k miles. In the time he owned it he had the rear springs replaced (a common issue) at BMW Shrewsbury, headlight washer replaced, and paid to have new steering wheel plastics (started peeling), new knee supports, Aero side-skirts, quad exhaust, and then paid for an approved bonnet, bumper, and Aero side-skirts respray with a ceramic lacquer. The car also had the Inspection 2 Service at Rybrook BMW in Shrewsbury just before I bought it, as well as a full health check with absolutely no issues – the next service (oil service) is due in just under 7400 miles. The previous owner also put a new MOT on it when I bought it and put two brand new tyres on the rear and I had a new passenger window regulator fitted last month.

The quad exhaust was fitted by the previous owner at a cost of £900 – it offers a similar sound as stock but quite is slightly deeper when it's warmed up (absolutely no droning!), and hasn’t affected my insurance (Admiral). The car also has subtle tints on the rear windows and gets positive comments wherever I go.

The spec of the car is as follows:
•58,000 miles
•Full BMW Service History.
•MOT until August 2013 (I will put a full year on for the new owner)
•Tax until January 2014
•Sapphire Black Metallic with Red Nappa Leather and Black Piano Dash
•Full M Sport spec including:
o M Sports seats
o M Sport Multi-function steering wheel
o M Sport suspension
o 18" MV II Spoke alloy wheels
•Electric seats with 3 driver memory settings (paired to keys)
•Heated seats
•Automatic air-conditioning
•Rear parking distance sensor
•Auto wipers and light activation
•Auto-dimming rear view mirror
•Electric & heated wing mirrors
•AUX Input
•BMW Business CD
•Bluetooth
•Comfort Package
•On-board computer
•Dynamic stability control
•Automatic stability control
•Traction control.
•BMW remote control alarm and immobiliser.

The car is in excellent condition, I have looked after it as I do all my cars and the previous owners have all been the same. I will be very sad to see it go but hopefully it will give someone else the same amount of smiles it’s given me. I’ve tried to include everything I can think of, if you have any questions then feel free to give me a call on 07738639685 or drop me an email.

I have reduced the price to £11,300 - this is very fairly priced given the condition of the car. The car is in Essex but I can travel to Derby at weekends if you would like to view it there, I would just need a bit of prior notice.

Thanks !

Will be gutted to see her go and will own another one day without a doubt, I just need to scratch the ST itch now.

Car looks a peach  the exhaust conversion really suits :)
As for selling to go fiesta ST  why would you ? unless its to cut some costs along the way the ST is slower on all fronts , has less WOW factor , less pedigree & will devalue far quicker than your Zc over the next 2 years :? doesn't add up to me but each to their own ,
best of luck

perhaps he has a Nazi company car policy at work too....

In hindsight I was being a little reserved , the Fiesta ST for all its plus points is not in the same league as a Zc , its a car you would put up with as a temporary but not a car you would look to as a replacement for a Zc ( or any other BMW )
its like saying " ive enjoyed my holidays in Sardinia but now i,m going to try Benidorm  or Scarbrough :( you just wouldn't .

GLWTS  for your interest, i have a coupe with virtually the same spec, apart from the quads, and less mileage and asked for a part ex price from the local BMW dealer on Friday. The suit behind the desk came back with a price of £8500 :o :o
Two months ago they had an 07 plate on sale for £13250.

Try to get 9500 then negotiate a hefty discount on the new car from the suit.

I completely understand the comments re the ST but there is a simple explanation - I work for Ford and with the discount I can get I'll be able to run it for free (or hopefully a small profit) over the next 9 - 12 months. Ill be sure to Mountune it and performance won't be a million miles off the Z. And believe me when I say the ST is an absolutely incredible car to drive!!

I got offered £7500 trade in on my car, a whole £3 more than webuyanycar!

"Try to get 9500 then negotiate a hefty discount on the new car from the suit"

The car i was looking at was already a heavily discounted ex olympic games car, so would have been very difficult to get any more reduction. Even at 9500, i wouldnt be prepared to make such a loss over 12 months of owning the coupe.

Would people say this is fairly priced?

Can't help but feel people will might be looking at the ones that are priced the same but with less mileage despite the fact I would be willing to bet this is in better condition.

Car is now on ebay as well http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-Z4-SI-Sport-Coupe-58k-Black-Excellent-Cond-/200912423831?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2ec7504b97#ht_858wt_1399 - new car comes tomorrow and as much as I am excited for that, I am really, really going to miss the Z!

Car went today, always sad seeing 'your' car drive off but new owner seemed sound and I trust he will look after it.
