2006 Z4 E86 3.0 si exhaust silencer

Hi I wonder if anyone could offer some advice please? I have recently purchased a 2006 3.0si coupe. The previous owner had the rear silencer and associated pipework removed for a straight pipe, noisey affair and I want to put it back to standard. The part I need is 7555350 for the 3.0 si but I have been advised that the silencer and pipes from a 2.5 - part number 7560513 will work just as well as they are the same? Does anyone know if this sounds ok? thanks a lot
 
No idea what the part numbers are for (how much of the system you're getting) - but cheapest way to go will be to get a used back box with sufficient piping attached to replace the straight through conversion. Facelift 2.5si and 3.0si are the same (and I presume the 2.5 also), but pre-facelift models are different piping.
 
I might have one spare soon as I plan to go the opposite direction and get an aftermarket back box/straight pipe. Also a 3.0si.

Worth mentioning this one has been modified slightly by Zed Shed but there’s zero drone, so presumably what you’re after.
 
I have a spare full one piece oem system in my shed but would need collecting done just over 50k
Will let it go for a reasonable price
